The armor that covers its whole body is made of Chrome Digizoid, so it deflects every attack. Also, Crossmon is even said to be an evolved form of the Perfect Digimon, Parrotmon. It is said that it is Crossmon's duty to annihilate the invaders that enter the Digital World. Its Special Moves are performing a ramming attack with its full metal body (Kaiser Phoenix), and a white ray which reduces the opponent to ash (Mystic Break). Crossmon was adopted from a winning Digimon entry in the "Digimon Web Dot-art Contest" which belonged to Mr. Shun Nabetou from Fukuoka prefecture. Many Crossmon serve in Gravimon's army in Canyon Land. Some of these, as well as several other Digimon, are eventually DigiXrossed with Gravimon to form Gravimon Darkness Mode in "X7 of Bonds! The Great Battle with Gravimon!".

Digimon Adventure:

Crossmon evolved from a Parrotmon that attacked Yagami Taichi and Agumon, after being struck by the dark lightning. It was able to easily beat Metal Greymon: Alterous Mode in combat, taking no damage from its attacks, but lost in their second fight just as easily once Metal Greymon evolved into War Greymon.

Clearing the "Protect the Giant Digimeat 4" Outer Dungeon Mission awards Yuki Dan/Yuki Kanan with a Crossmon who joins them because it finds their high spirits impressive. Crossmon joins at level 60 with all of its level-up Attachment Skills intact.

A giant Crossmon appeared after the party teams up with Marsmon and Callismon to defeat a copied Demon. The brothers fight it in the party's place, so it is unfought and the party is allowed to ride Pegasmon to the next area.

Crossmon is also an obtainable Digimon. It evolves from Hippogriffomon, Tyilinmon, or Parrotmon.
