A Karatuki Numemon was one of the Digimon that lost their home to Millenniumon's rampage. Alongside a Kamemon, a Nanimon and an Elecmon, it tried to convince Leomon and Yagami Taichi to stop pushing El Doradimon to Cloud Continent in "A Place to Return To", as it was dangerous and impossible for Takaishi Takeru, a small child, to do so.
A Red Vegimon, a Zassoumon, a Scumon, an Elecmon, two Elecmon (Violet), two Karatuki Numemon (one likely being the same worried one as before), a Penmon, a Tocanmon, a Kokuwamon, a Betamon, a Sepikmon, a Dokunemon, a Kamemon, a Gizamon, a Shamamon, a Goburimon, a Floramon, a Ganimon, a Delumon, a Pipismon, a Gokimon, an Insekimon, a Bombmon, a yellow Pickmon, a Tuchidarumon, a Starmon, a Sunflowmon, an Unimon, a Swanmon, a Revolmon and Gravimon, reacted to the attack of a group of Soundbirdmon in "The Angels' Determination".
After Negamon was finally defeated in "The End of the Adventure", Monzaemon went to the park, where it gave balloons to a Puroromon who was part of a group formed by another Puroromon, some Frimon and two Xiaomon; the Digimon that had been in the park before, as well as an Elecmon, a Tocanmon, a Toy Agumon and a Karatuki Numemon.

Digimon World: Digital Card Arena[edit]
Karatuki Numemon is the second opponent of Junk City's Battle Arena. It's always thinking about many topics, such as the future. Despite this, it is a pretty poor player and will happily play weak Adult-level Digimon without evolving, making them even weaker. It uses the Obstacle Jam deck, a Yellow/Rare deck with 2 attack, 3 defense and 1 evolution speed, which focuses on hindering evolution. Upon being defeated, Karatuki Numemon acknowledges it is not a good player and apologizes for not being a challenge.
Karatuki Numemon is also an obtainable Adult-level Yellow/Rare card whose stats are:
- HP: 900
- DP: 30
- +P: 10
- Circle attack: 250
- Triangle attack: 150
- X attack: 150, Circle to 0
- Support Ability: Discard opponent's top DP card shown in DP Slot.
