Several Kodokugumon absorbed Toropiamon's poison, despite the latter disliking them doing so and even killing a few, and used it on the human beings in the mall in order to grow stronger in "Monster Pollen". One of the people infected was Higashimitarai Kiyoshiro, who confused them with the Dokugumon he had met in "The Spider's Lure". After Thetismon defeated Toropiamon and created an antivirus for his poison, she healed all of those that were poisoned by the Kodokugumon, and the Kodokugumon ran away.
