The Ministry of Civil Protection (国民保護省, Kokumin Hogo Shō), initialed to MCP, is an organization that appears in Digimon Beatbreak.
Description[edit]
Via a bounty system, the Ministry employs Cleaners to round up rogue Digimon and any humans who illegally shelter them, claiming to the public that the Sapotamas which spawned the Digimon were merely glitching and displaying holograms. Half of the value of the bounty requires rendition or proof of deletion of the Digimon. Secretly, the Ministry deletes the Digimon it apprehends, which leads Sawashiro Kyo to covertly refuge them at the Nirinso Shelter under the pretense that they had been deleted.

Some time prior to the beginning of the series, Dr. Tenma Tasuku was hunted down by his ex-colleague Chairman Wong for speaking against the commercial usage of e-Pulse, deeming it as being too dangerous. He was put under protection by the Ministry of Civil Protection and declared dead so the World Union will not try to hunt him down. Following the collapse of GIFT, its leader Kagemori Miharu was put under their protection as well.
At the cusp of the Shangri-La Project, Wong declared that the Ministry of Civil Protection is no longer needed and Cold Hearted them through their Sapotama's connection with Albatusmon. Despite this, not all members were affected, as Dr. Tenma protected most of them with a spray paint he invented with cooperation from Miharu. Kawarazaki let himself Cold Hearted so Tasuku can use the final dose to save his grandson Tenma Asuka.
