Quotations[edit]
Edits[edit]
English[edit]
- Post-9/11 airings of this episode remove all shots of Dark Towers getting destroyed.
- The siren sound effects during the attack of the Guardromon are missing from the Saban dub.
- Guardromon’s name is inexplicably changed to “Gardromon” in the Saban dub. This change will be undone in the dub of Digimon Tamers.
- The Saban dub adds another instance of Miyako insulting Daisuke for no reason.
- Hikari's message is edited in the dub to include a joke about misspelled words.
- Both the Saban dub and the Animax dub remove a line from Daisuke which implies that his parents wouldn't care if he went missing for a while.
- The scene with the trick coin is different in each version. In the Japanese version and the Animax dub, it is said to be a two-headed coin, while the animation clearly shows tails. The Saban dub correctly refers to it as a two-tailed coin, although it also adds a line from Takeru saying that he used to pull the same trick on his brother.
- In the Saban dub, Wormmon apparently knows who Andromon is, and that he is connected to the Chosen Children. In the Japanese version, he is instead concerned that Ken is going to use such a powerful Digimon to get rid of them.
- For some reason, the Saban dub removes all mentions of Andromon's power level, even though such info is very important as it allows Ken to upgrade the Dark Rings in later episodes.
- ”Break up!” is replaced in this episode by “Strange”.
- In the Saban dub, Daisuke wonders if such a thing as "AngeBabymon" exists.
- Kanpyomaki is referred to as “candy” in the Saban dub.
- The Guardromon are mostly silent in the Japanese version, while the Saban dub gives them extra dialogue.
- In the Japanese and Animax versions, Daisuke gloats that Hikari said his name first when greeting them. In the Saban dub, he instead brags about how it was his idea to come and save her.
- The scene in which Andromon tries to regain his memory is mostly the same in the Saban dub, but it also adds a line about his apparent love of jigsaw puzzles, as well as adding generic suspenseful music.
- Koushiro mentions an American friend of his in this episode. The Saban dub tries to tie this in with the upcoming release of Digimon: The Movie by calling his friend “Willis”.
- The Saban dub removes the sound effect of everyone's stomachs growling, which results in them making bug-eyed faces for no reason.
