Profile[edit]
All V-mon evolutions are considered very strange in the Folder Continent and great warriors. V-mon itself is a descendant of an ancient race of Digimon that flourished in the following years after the creation of the Digital World. That's why this Digimon can use the Armor Evolution. Its Ultimate form, Ulforce V-dramon, is considered one of the fastest Digimon and a member of the Royal Knights. It is said to appear only in certain prophecy that talks about the meetings of the Royal Knights in times of extreme danger.

Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode[edit]
Shinomiya Rina fights alongside V.V. as a V-mon against Taiga in the Colosseum 1st floor Free Battle: "Mysterious Girl". After being defeated, she's shocked her V.V. lost. Before the 10th floor Free Battle: "I'm gonna kick yer butt!", Rina bets V.V.'s favourite food in the fight, so V.V. reminds her that's chocolate, not Tianjin Chestnuts, a mistake she has made several times in the past. Rina is saddened by her defeat after the fight, V.V. tells her they should train since otherwise they'll never win but Rina thinks that's a pain. This awards Taiga three Divine Chestnuts, proving V.V.'s worries.
For the 20th floor Free Battle: "No longer a V-mon", V.V. evolved into V-dramon, which let Rina create a whole new battle strategy. Neither that strategy nor the training they did was enough to win, however, as V.V. answered to Rina's complaints, though he hadn't given up and intended to live up to the V in his name, which stood for Victory. This raised Rina's spirits, though she missed how he was before evolving.
In the 30th floor Free Battle: "Rina's Revenge!", Rina orders Taiga to kneel in front of her V-dramon, now the strongest of all after their training, though V.V. just tells her to stop goofing around and calm down because victory will be on their side. After the fight, V.V. tells her they entered the fight too soon since he's still just an Adult-level so they should train and aim for the Perfect level. Rina accepts this but asks him if he's really her Partner Digimon since their personalities are so different. Annoyed, V.V. just tells her to get going, but Rina wants to watch a TV show, so V.V. tells her to record it so they can train. Angered, Rina just logs out. This awards Taiga a V-Tamer Certificate.
Rina and V.V. are sure of their victory in the 40th floor Free Battle: "The Final Showdown!" since V.V. had obtained his Perfect stage, Aero V-dramon, but they're defeated once again.
After Rina arrived to the Digital World, she got a mail from V.V. (as V-mon) who could feel her presence close despite her not being logged into the game so he asked her to call for him. Rina was confused, as V.V. had never sent her mail before and her Digivice was acting strangely. Rina tried calling V.V.'s name softly, then screamed it. That last one worked, and V.V. opened a hole in the wall, also knocking Rina to the ground to her annoyance. He then entered the room, happy he found his Tamer, though Rina was just confused about the whole situation. V.V. explained he thought it was strange since he felt the reaction of the Digivice very close. Rina asked him where they were and V.V. answered they were in the Digital World, specifically at the upper level of the Digitower. Rina went through a bunch of thoughts then, arriving in what they should do now, though V.V. didn't know, but he remembered Taiga, who also was in the Digital World, and thought he could help her understand her situation. Rina agreed, so V.V. told Rina to go through the hole he made to find Taiga. However, Rina couldn't do it since they were clearly way too high, the 50th floor to be exact, and she was scared of heights. V.V. told her to stop being selfish since he used his whole evolution power to break that hole in the wall and she should put it to good use. Rina realized that V.V. devolved due to that attack. Rina accepted to continue, just this once, which made V.V. wonder why he even rescued her. Rina wondered what they'd find and psyched herself to go through the hole.
Rina then becomes the player character. As Rina, the lower screen loses all of its functions so the player cannot enter Digivice Mode, read mail or interact with V.V. Neither Digitter nor the map work, either. During combat, V.V. works like Digimaru normally does but DigiMemories cannot be used and battles will not award any rewards.
On the next room, Rina and V.V. found a Black Growmon who asked her if she was a human since all of those were meant to be trapped so Rina must be a bad guy. Rina realized they had no choice so she decided to have fun as if this was still just the Digital Monster game. After beating it, something flew out of the Black Growmon's body and into Rina. It then ran into the elevator to warn its allies, as an alarm started to sound. Rina and V.V. tried to follow it but the elevator stopped working and a shutter went down, trapping them. Rina had V.V. break a terminal since both of them found it way too noisy. While that stopped the alarm, V.V. immediately realized that was a bad move and Rina realized they were definitely trapped now. V.V. suddenly started suffering but it was just hunger, while Rina herself was suddenly dizzy. Despite this, them destroying the terminal reactivated the elevator for Taiga and the rest.
After Rina woke up, Taiga talks to her through a shutter. She introduces herself, not knowing who's on the other side, and explains V.V. and her are hungry and need help. After realizing who's the other side, Rina realizes how lucky she is, but then wonders if she's unlucky instead. Regardless, she wants food for V.V., since he's hungry and it's affecting her too. She also explains V.V. is eating much more than he did in the game and her Digivice is strange, but that matters less than getting food ASAP. After Orgemon gets him some Sirloin, V.V. recovers, which causes Rina to recover as well. V.V. is then used by Rina to fight against the Seven Great Demon Lords Belphemon: Sleep Mode and Lilithmon, both alongside Digimaru. After Lilithmon's power is absorbed into Rina's Digivice, V.V. uses it to evolve again into V-dramon, though he was now sparking, since the power was too great for him to hold, which made him run away until he hit a wall, causing both him and the exit of the Digitower 60th floor to collapse.
Rina later gains the power of Beelzebumon, but collapses in pain. Mikagura Mirei advices about letting V.V. evolve with Rina in that state. However, when they confront Barbamon at the 100th floor, Rina ordered V.V. to fight, even if it meant pushing her body to its limits, because they couldn't allow Barbamon to succeed, so Rina makes V.V. evolve into Ulforce V-dramon. Digimaru and V.V. manage to defeat Barbamon, which surprises him but makes no difference as he starts taking Rina's Demon Lord powers anyways. However, before he can give the power to Lucemon, Demon shows up and stops him, then hijacks Barbamon's plans in full and throws something at Rina which caused V.V. to lose his powers and devolve into V-dramon.
In New Game +, V.V. replaces Digimaru as the protagonist's Partner Digimon if the player chooses to play as Rina, starting as V-mon.
