After receiving the mission to attack Plotter Hole and Resist Hole, in the Main Gate of Digital City, Bertran told Akira about Angemon, who led a group of peace-loving Digimon. However, Bertran wondered why the Wild Digimon didn't attack them, which made him doubt this was true. Lin Lin Shao told Akira about Meridin Dome, where said non-Wild Digimon hid. However, she didn't know where it was.

Numemon, the Boss Digimon of Resist Hole, thought Akira was part of Meridin Dome who had come to rescue Angemon. After their fight, Akira remembered Numemon's words about Meridin Dome and Angemon. Further into the floor, he found said Angemon, who recognized him as a Guard Tamer from the City. Akira was surprised that Angemon wasn't a Wild Digimon and introduced himself to it. Angemon explained that Numemon had captured it and blackmailed its friends in Meridin Dome, which was a place where Digimon who hadn't gone Wild could gather, and Numemon intended to force them to attack the City. To thank Akira for stopping Numemon's plans, Angemon invited him to Meridin Dome, then left the Hole.

With both Boss Digimon destroyed, Akira went back to his Leader (Vandar, Cecilia, or Skull). The Leader then explained that they had received a message from the peace-loving Digimon of Meridin Dome, saying they would help the Guard Tamers of Digital City. Afterwards, Akira can go into Meridin City at will, where Angemon will give him 2000 BITs.

After meeting the Parts thief, Ayumi, Akira went to Meridin Dome, where Angemon explained that Device Dome was created by the people who left Digital City during the Blood Knights revolt that happened 30 years ago in the City, at the same time the Digimon of Meridin Dome left as well. However, because all of them hid, Angemon didn't know where Device Dome was. That said, he did know about Ayumi, as she stayed in Meridin Dome from time to time, and in fact had done so recently. There, she asked Angemon about where Ancient Artifacts were dug out so Angemon told her about Dynamo Hole and Proxy Hole. After clearing both Holes, Akira returned to Meridin Dome, where Angemon told Akira that Orgemon had told Ayumi about Buffer Hole.

To obtain the Digital DNA Patches from Digimon with strong wills in order to save Digimon from an infection, Akira went to Meridin Dome, where Angemon allowed him to take the Digital DNA Patches from the Digimon of the Dome if it meant helping their comrades.

To find the Ship Key, Akira went to Meridin Dome, where he asked Angemon about it. Angemon told him about a Digimon who collected all kinds of items that happened to be in Meridin Dome at the time. Said Digimon, Agumon, quickly joined them, so Angemon asked him about the Ship Key. Agumon had heard about it but couldn't remember from where. It promised to tell Angemon as soon as it remembered and left to check its collection of items.
