Chaos Lord serves Crimson who became its boss after reaching File Island. Chaos Lord itself is served by the Chaos Generals. It resides in Cluster Hole, whose coordinates can only be found by Jijimon with the data of the three Chaos Rings, each held by one of the Chaos Generals.

After Akira defeated Crimson in Cluster Hole, he told Akira that Chaos Lord was waiting for him further in. Indeed, at the end of the Floor, Akira met Chaos Lord. Akira told it how he was the Guard Tamer that defeated all of its underlings and it was next. However, Chaos Lord was unfazed by this, as it intended to destroy them all including the Chaos Generals anyways, as it believed that only the most powerful Digimon, itself, could exist in the world. Chaos Lord further explained that all living beings strived to reach the peak of evolution, which only the winner of all battles could reach, and that would be it, the most powerful Digimon.

Chaos Lord is the final boss of Cluster Hole. It fights alone. During the fight, it can use Chaos Cannon and Shaking Pulse.

Chaos Lord congratulated Akira for his victory, acknowledging that the most powerful Digimon on File Island didn't amount to anything and that humans and Digimon training together led to greater evolution. However, it told Akira it would not go down that easily and neither would the Chaos Generals, as they would be revived into a new form with the item it gave to Crimson, as the Guardians desired.
