A survivor of the "Weapon Digimon", who carry out transformations into giant, peerless weapons based on the master they choose, and which according to legend, "if held by an angel will save the world, and if held by a demon will destroy the world." It is the last, and the strongest, of the Weapon Digimon in the LS-tou Zone.
Since the LS-tou Zone kept being exposed to aggression from invaders, Spadamon was used as a trump card to pull them back from the edge of defeat, and it was released in a different Zone once its abilities were sealed along with its memories by its Weapon Digimon comrades...it seems. Because its memories surrounding the seal have also vanished, it does not remember the exact details of where its memories are hidden and how to recover its abilities. After Spadamon escaped, the Zone was occupied by the invading army, and all of the Weapon Digimon but Spadamon were defeated and went into stasis. Spadamon, who returned to the LS-tou Zone secretly, cannot currently remember how to recover its own true strength, but will fight against the invading force.
Although its personality is to be earnest and serious, it is weak to pressure and ad-libbing due to its obsessive type. It is extremely fond of sweets, and has an obsessive level of belief in "replenishing sugar for fatigue." Although it is powerful(ish) when it becomes a weapon, as a Digimon its combat abilities are low.

外敵からの侵略に晒され続けたエルエストウゾーンで、スパーダモンは起死回生の切り札として、仲間の武器デジモンたちに能力を記憶ごと封印された上で別のゾーンに逃がされた……らしい。封印前後の記憶も消えてしまっているため、本人は正確な経緯もメモリの隠し場所も能力の回復方法も覚えていない。スパーダモンが逃げ落ちた後、ゾーンは侵略軍に占拠され、スパーダモンを除く武器デジモンたちは全員が斃れて石化し休眠状態になってしまう。密かに、エルエストウゾーンへと戻ったスパーダモンは、自分の真の実力もそれを取り戻す方法も思い出せないまま、侵略軍に立ち向かうことになる。
性格は真面目で一生懸命だが、思い詰めるタイプでプレッシャーとアドリブには弱い。甘いものに目がなく、「疲労には糖分補給」という、強迫観念レベルの信念を持つ。武器になったときには強い（らしい）が、デジモンとしての戦闘能力は低い。

After Taiki hears its DigiMelody and heals him, Spadamon asks Xros Heart for help to save the Sweets Zone. Subsequently, Spadamon appears as one of the Digimon hypnotized by Olegmon.

Spadamon is one of Leomon's allies, alongside Falcomon and the Peckmon they ride.
Spadamon, alongside Falcomon and two Peckmon, travelled with Lopmon and some Digimon who had lost their home on a gray Komondomon, searching for a new place to live, as narrated by Leomon in "A Place to Return To".
Lopmon, Spadamon, Falcomon, a Xiaomon, a Frimon and a Puroromon, riding the gray Komondomon, reacted to the attack of a group of Soundbirdmon in "The Angels' Determination".

Spadamon is a squire of the Royal Knight Ulforce V-dramon. Their group was trapped in the human world when the Digital World fractured into zones. Spadamon finds Taiki and brings him to their secret base.
Video Games[edit]
Spadamon is one of the main characters in the game. It is one of the Legend-Arms survivors and the youngest among them, as well as their last hope. It eventually becomes the mainstay of Xros Heart, with whom he will team, leading to Shoutmon X4S and Shoutmon X5S. At some point in the past, Dynasmon sealed Spadamon's consciousness to protect the LS-tou Zone from invaders, which would explain its memory loss. It is later revealed that Dynasmon's aim was to make Spadamon achieve its full potential in order to protect the future of the Digital World by fulfilling the actual mission of the Legend-Arms.
