An Ultimate Vehicle-species Digimon that evolved from Locomon. It broke through the limits on the speeds sought by Locomon, and so it rushes about within the Network at super-speeds. It has an extremely strong competitive spirit and the personality of reckless types, and since its power is also incomparable, those who suffer Grand Locomon's assault are smashed to smithereens. Although Locomon was not able to run when there wasn’t any rails, when Grand Locomon is in a place where there aren't any rails, it is able to just produce rails to run on itself. Its Special Move is crashing into the opponent with its spiked wheel at speed (Destroyed Crash).

Digimon Story[edit]

Grand Locomon charging into the Player

Yoshiki and Alicia use a Grand Locomon to move around Junk Factory and escape from the Player after being defeated. The Player then pursues them, but almost gets run over by the Grand Locomon while doing so. However, when the Player finally catches up to them, they find them behind a laser gate, which requires three Code Keys to open that their comrades have, one each. After getting the Code Keys, the Player find themselves in a room surrounded by lasers alongside Grand Locomon, as Yoshiki and Alicia accidentally locked themselves in. Out of options, Yoshiki decides to ram into the Player with Grand Locomon, though it only ends with Grand Locomon having to trigger its breaks and leave after being defeated.

Grand Locomon is an unobtainable Machine-type Digimon. As a boss, it occupies three spaces on the battlefield.
