In "Thoma's Day Off, Exploding Bomber Nanimon", Bomber Nanimon appears at an amusement park on the night of Daimon Chika's birthday and goes on a rampage, threatening to destroy the amusement park with its bombs. Thoma H. Norstein and his Partner Digimon Gaomon fight Bomber Nanimon to prevent the destruction of the park and salvage Chika's birthday. Gaomon evolves into Gaogamon, throws Bomber Nanimon into the air and blasts it with Spiral Blow, and Bomber Nanimon explodes into a shower of fireworks and reverts into a Digitama.

(Note: In the English dub version of this episode, "A Birthday Kristy Will Never Forget!", Bomber Nanimon is heavily edited into "Citramon" due to concerns that a bomb-themed Digimon would be inappropriate for broadcast.)
