A tiny Digimon that is strong, at least in its competitive spirit, and in any case it barks well.
It is also quick to flee, and extremely swift. Although it is almost impossible to track it after it runs into the bushes, you can easily find its location because it will soon begin to bark. Since it specializes in running on land, it is totally incapable of swimming, as it dreads water. In fact, it can't even cross a 10 cm deep brook, and sometimes, you can run across a Gaossmon that has nearly drowned and passed out in a puddle of water.
Its Special Moves are a medium-temperature jet of flames (Kilo Flame), and an intense headbutt (Head Strike).

Digimon Adventure:[edit]

Gaossmon is the leader of the one of the two gangs that wanted to take over the faucet and its water in "The Villains of the Wastelands", commanding a group of Goburimon and pretending he's a taller Digimon by riding on Tyranomon, his sworn brother, hidden under a cloak. He kidnapped Kido Joe for using said faucet, and tried to have his lackeys hurt him, but stopped as Joe clumsily hurt himself instead. Nonetheless, he still wished to harm him even more, but once again was stopped by Yagami Taichi and Nohemon arriving and setting his fruit on fire. He then rode on top of Tyranomon to attack Taichi and Nohemon, only to get swept away by the water inside his water jug, which was broken by Taichi using Nohemon's bow and arrow instead, allowing them to save Joe. Afterwards, Gaossmon and his gang followed the Chosen Children, but Taichi saw the situation as an advantage, and led Gaossmon's gang to Minidekachimon's, which was following Agumon and Gomamon. At the moment they met each other, they immediately decided to fight amongst themselves.

During their fight, Agumon evolved into Greymon and fought Gaossmon and Tyranomon himself. After Tyranomon was taken down by Nohemon, Gaossmon attempted to ram Greymon, only to be stopped by the latter's horn and then tail-slapped into Atamadekachimon's mouth, hitting Minidekachimon and causing the Adult-level to eat them both. After said fight, Taichi and Agumon rescued both Child-levels from Atamadekachimon's mouth.

Minidekachimon, alongside Atamadekachimon, Tyranomon, Nohemon, Gaossmon and a Goburimon, reacted to the attack of a group of Soundbirdmon in "The Angels' Determination".

After Negamon was finally defeated in "The End of the Adventure", Nohemon, Minidekachimon, Atamadekachimon, Tyranomon, Gaossmon, the Goburimon, as well as the Digimon they had once ran out of the faucet: a group of Keemon, a group of Yarmon, a Puwamon, a Wanyamon and a Pusumon, enjoyed the water that came out of the faucet together.
