Sorry for our appearance, but this article currently needs a lot of work.

Functions[edit]

  • Evolve a Partner Digimon to the Ultimate level "Arbitrators".[1] However, because these Digimon were created by Yggdrasill to bring it down in case it was corrupted, they will not obey humans with impure Digisouls.[2]
  • Revive the Arbitrators through Digisoul even if they've lost their DigiMemories.[3]
  • When used together, unite the Digisouls of many Tamers, including those that aren't owners of the devices themselves, through Twin Charge.[4]

Digimon Next[edit]

While in jail in "System World!", Mikihara Norn thought she had to give the Digimon Twins to Tatsuno Tsurugi and Inui Yuu while they were still in the Firewall. Continuing in "Death Struggle, Three Commanders", she explained they were ultimate items, only to be used by Tamers who grasped the true Digisoul, and would give them the power to save the Digital World but they needed to be given to Tamers that complemented each other as they were paired devices.

Norn finally gave the Digimon Twins to Tsurugi and Yuu in "Machine From God - Digimon Twin!" after Kahara Shou rejected them, considering them to be more worthy of the devices than him. Upon receiving them, their Partner Digimon: Agumon and Gaomon, immediately evolved to their new Ultimate levels, the "Arbitrators" Victory Greymon and Z'd Garurumon. However, in "Demon Lord Barbamon!", they rejected their Tamers' commands afterwards, as they were existences all too close to God, with a power sealed into the Digivice Twins that could bring down Yggdrasill should it be corrupted.

Tsurugi and Yuu channeled their Digisouls through their Digimon Twins to revive Victory Greymon, who had lost their DigiMemories to N.E.O, in "NEO!", which also made their Arbitrators finally accept them.

The four Tamers channeled their souls and Digisouls into the connected Digimon Twins with the Twin Charge command to send Victory Greymon and Z'd Garurumon, alongside the souls of their Tamers, through the Digital Gate Norn created from Kitajima Ami's Digimon Mini so they could go to N.E.O's space in "Digital World!".
