Video Game Digimon Universe Appli Monsters V-Pet Appli Drive DUO Card 4G-006 (DCDAPM) Rebootmon's appearance combines elements from Bootmon with those from Shutmon. He has yellow fur and a humanoid build, with wolf-like legs and a bushy tail. He wears orange/gold armor and a helmet. His right arm is equipped with a cannon, while his left arm is equipped with a sword. On his back, like all Divine Appmon, he bears his signature symbol: a golden ring with rectangular protrusions. The combination of the sword and cannon arms is an homage to Omegamon, as are Rebootmon’s name and nature as the God of Revolution, both of which implies the same cycle of endings and beginnings presented through the "I am the Alpha and Omega" biblical expression (as in, the same etymology used for Alphamon and Omegamon). Rebootmon is considered a God born by apotheosis. Unlike Deusmon, he represents the more functional, neutral and law-giving side of Zeus, acting as the force that maintains the digital cosmos and reboots the system when balance collapses.

Digimon Universe Appli Monsters

Shutmon forces an AppGattai with Bootmon and becomes Rebootmon in the Hifumigaoka Chaos AR-Field, using Naoto's hijacked Appli Drive. Rebootmon tells Itsuki/Kazuki that Bootmon no longer exists. It then takes the Appmon of both Kazuki/Itsuki and the other Appli Drivers there (Ouji, Kayo, Mio, Makoto and Kagefumi). Naoto, determined to sacrifice himself to protect everyone, joins Rebootmon, but asks Rebootmon to restore Kazuki/Itsuki's Appmon. Rebootmon complies, allowing Bootmon and Rebootmon to coexist at the same time. Ouji believes that Rebootmon would split apart after losing one of its components, but because Rebootmon is a rebooting Appmon, it reconstructs its own body to restore the missing part taken from Bootmon.

Later, after Itsuki/Kazuki defeats Rebootmon, Naoto manages to reach Shutmon within Rebootmon. Shutmon's original consciousness apologizes to Naoto and asks him to destroy Rebootmon for good. In response, Naoto encourages Shutmon to escape with the absorbed Appmon, and Shutmon uses Rebootmon's powers to restore his own existence, allowing Rebootmon and Shutmon to coexist as well. Rebootmon is still capable of regenerating its body repeatedly.

Rebootmon later absorbs Jammingmon and its virus-infected followers, becoming infected as well. As a result, both worlds begin to collapse under its influence, as Rebootmon intended only for Naoto to survive. Rebootmon attacks Itsuki/Kazuki and Bootmon. Although Bootmon manages to hold it back, he is unable to defeat a God Appmon. They App Fuse into another Rebootmon, which defeats the virus-infected Rebootmon.

Through the Appli Drive, Rebootmon tells Itsuki/Kazuki that the lingering influence of the defeated infected Rebootmon is still too great, and that it must use its reboot powers to restore both worlds to normal.

Rebootmon is also the Buddy Appmon of the rival Itsuki/Kazuki. They open their battle in the High-End GP (Final) against the player with Rebootmon + Sateramon.
