Like most Appmon, it has two cables on to allow Applink, though they are located at the sword's twin hilts which are reminiscent to a pair of scissors' fingers holes.

Shutmon is the Buddy Appmon of Ozora Yujin. Shutmon suffers from a mysterious feral madness and is aggressive by nature. When first Appliarised, Shutmon went completely berserk after attempting to kill Sateramon, subsequently attacking his own Buddy before eventually calming down enough to revert to Offmon. Over time, Yujin helps Shutmon gain control over his savage nature, and from then on, Shutmon is able to maintain his sanity.

Shutmon is the Buddy Appmon of Naoto. Shutmon retained the shy and awkward personality it had as an Offmon, largely due to Naoto's neglect. This eventually drove it to attempt to kill Itsuki/Kazuki because of their unhealthy rivalry, believing that by becoming a God it could reshape the world and evolve into the strongest Appmon for its partner.
