Summary[edit]
Spoiler Warning | |
---|---|
While the battle between Blastmon and the Twilight and Blue Flare armies rages on, the Xros Heart group is suddenly sniped at by Baalmon. As Taiki goes to take out his Xros Loader, it's blasted out of his hands by Baalmon, and they try to retreat, but are herded into a dead end. Realizing that their only hope is to Digi Xros, Taiki makes a dash for his fallen Xros Loader, but is once again shot at by Baalmon. However, several shots manage to cause the nearby cliff wall to collapse, revealing a strange statue of a goddess. Realizing Baalmon's attack has paused, Taiki managed to grab his digivice and summons Shoutmon X4. During the skirmish, Zenjirou notes that their enemy's attacks are less like his reputation as a Reaper and more like that of a majestic warrior. Elsewhere, Lilithmon laments Baalmon's trouble in assassinating Taiki.
However, the fight is interrupted by the other army's ongoing battle as Blastmon unleashes his Diamond Tail, raining crystal bullets well past his intended targets, cracking the ground and hitting the cliff face, causing it to collapse. All of the Xros Heart army manages to flee to safety, except Taiki who falls down into the crevasse. |
