Sorry for our appearance, but this article currently needs a lot of work.

The organization was formed with the intention of preventing the disaster of the Digital World. Faithfully following Yggdrasill's orders, Erlangmon sees war as a necessary means of preventing disaster, since only by ending opposition can hope be brought, and to do so it is necessary to eliminate all Digimon against God's will.

Digimon New Century[edit]

After the strongest Digimon began to prey on the weakest indiscriminately, Erlangmon, the God of War, founded the organization. According to Xiangpengmon, one of the first members, the organization was created with the intention of maintaining the natural order of the world, protecting the weak, and stopping predators from running amok.

Although both groups operate under Yggdrasill, Tian Ji and the Royal Knights did not often work together. However, one day Yggdrasill stopped communicating with his knights, at which point Erlangmon appeared stating that the god was still communicating with him, leading to an alliance between the factions.

At some point Nezhamon, the Ultimate evolution of Impmon, Takutoumon's rebellious apprentice, was one of the Digimon to pass Tian Ji's selection tests, which were personally organized by Erlangmon.

At the same time that Digimon who opposed Tian Ji's methods began to form enemy factions and the crisis escalated into a war, the Royal Knights began to divide between those who believed in Erlangmon's words and those who doubted them. On the other hand, Erlangmon himself showed no trust in the Royal Knights, going so far as to task Takutoumon with preventing the knights from approaching Yggdrasill while he was on his own missions.

When Erlangmon began the complete destruction of multiple areas with the "Data Shattering Plan" in an attempt to quell the war and prevent the collapse of the Digital World, more than half of the Royal Knights turned against Tian Ji, in addition to Xiangpengmon's departure, who left the group before the final battle to dedicate himself to gathering the scattered data of the Four Holy Beasts, and Nezhamon, who had a great fight against Erlangmon before leaving with his companions.

With Alphamon abscence after leaving to find another way to contact Yggdrasill, JESmon, Gankoomon, Ulforce V-dramon, Magnamon, Sleipmon and Dukemon, led by Omegamon, were the Royal Knights who prepared to face Erlangmon on D-Day of the War of Divine Fall, planning to take advantage of the Tian Ji leader's seemingly weakened state.

After managing to clear the way for Omegamon and JESmon to move forward, Dukemon, Magnamon, Ulforce V-dramon and Gankoomon, the last remaining Royal Knights, prepare for battle, with Erlangmon questioning whether it was worth becoming traitors and stabbing their comrades just to face him. Despite their injuries, the knights believed that together they could defeat him, only for Erlangmon to reveal that his weakened state was a great theater as he accumulated energy for this day, switching to his Blast Mode and putting an end to the four Royal Knights.

With the arrival of Nezhamon at Tian Ji's base, the two former companions enter into an intense combat, until Erlangmon realizes that Takutoumon's apprentice made a deal with the Newborn Army, confirming his suspicions about him being the calamitous Digimon that should be in the seal which he and Yggdrasill requested Takutoumon to guard years before the creation of Tian Ji. The battle is interrupted by the return of JESmon, who is sent by Omegamon to warn that the Newborn Army has launched a massive attack against them.

Reaching a temporary truce, the three Digimon return to the place where Takutoumon was surrounded by some members of the Seven Great Demon Lords, discovering that he has been defeated. With the situation becoming desperate with the emergence of the Four Ferocious Beasts, who had been sealed by Shakamon, and Lucemon: Falldown Mode, the leader of the Newborn Army, Nezhamon sacrifices himself to create a passage to Erlangmon: Blast Mode, who uses it to defeat Demon, Barbamon, Lilithmon and Belphemon: Sleep Mode in a single hit, temporarily sealing them away.

Determined to absorb Erlangmon and take its power and abilities for himself, Lucemon: Falldown Mode continues its battle revealing that the power of the Four Ferocious Beasts was for its own use, until the moment its power begins to disperse, having been one last resource left by Shakamon, causing Lucemon to degenerates to his Child form and the data he absorbed to return to the Digitamas, with the angel becoming enraged due to the hard work he had to do to gather the power of the beasts. At the limit of his power, Erlangmon: Blast Mode launches one last attack against Lucemon, but due to his energy finally running out, he only manages to temporarily seal the angel.

After the end of the battle, Erlangmon returned to Tian Ji's base with the Digitamas of his companions and the one from JESmon, finding Omegamon, and entrusting them to him, informing him about the other Digitamas that he could not bring with him, then announcing that Tian Ji was defeated, despite Omegamon's apology and his pleas to help him, Erlangmon reveals that the damage to his Digicore is irreversible, asking Omegamon once again to find and protect the Digitamas, then, the leader says he will protect Yggdrasill until the end.
