Digimon New Century[edit]

Yarmon was born from a Digitama that came out of Takutoumon's Bǎo Tǎ. After helping the little Digimon feed, the Ultimate Digimon took the little one as his apprentice.

As time passed, Yarmon became an Impmon, who was constantly scolded by his master due to the trouble he caused others with his tricks, constantly being trapped under the Bǎo Tǎ to reflect.

After almost extinguishing a Candmon's flame with the help of his new friend, Ranamon, Impmon is left by Takutoumon under the Bǎo Tǎ once again as he leaves the cave where they live. At this moment Ranamon appears and helps Impmon escape by digging under the Bǎo Tǎ. Disgusted by believing that his master only cares about the seal for which he is responsible, Impmon decides to run away with Ranamon.

After some time and having no ideas of what to do, Ranamon suggests spying on the seal that Takutoumon keeps, although reluctantly, Impmon accepts the suggestion, only for the duo to encounter a Skull Greymon on the way, despite the region being generally peaceful. Despite the Small Devil's protests, worried about his master, the duo decides to flee, but the Skull Digimon continues to pursue them. Arriving at the beach, they both try to convince a group of Gomamon to return to the water to protect themselves from the threat, who refuse, doubting that the story is true due to Impmon's constant lies, leading the two to forcibly throw the Gomamon into the water and hide them with Ranamon's ink.

Later that day, after Takutoumon defeats the Digimon who intended to break the seal, Impmon returns to his master proud of having saved the Gomamon, only to be accused by one of the seals of having attacked them for no reason, with the master revolting and arresting Impmon once again, leaving him alone again. Again, Ranamon frees him, and the pair depart permanently.

Freed from the responsibility of the seal, Takutoumon would spend the following years searching for Impmon, but without success, at the same time that the world would begin to become chaotic due to the strongest Digimon preying on the weakest, an event that would lead to the creation of Tian Ji.

At some point, Impmon, now as Nezhamon, became a member of Tian Ji, where he finally meets his master again. In addition to that at some point he met the Royal Knight JESmon, who became his friend.

As a member of the organization, he constantly teased and questioned Erlangmon's choices, fearing what the latter's actions could do to Child-level Digimon.

Knowing that Nezhamon would be opposed to the "Data Shattering Plan", Erlangmon requested that Takutoumon not inform his disciple about the plan, despite his reluctance. Nezhamon would discover the truth through JESmon, which would lead him and his companions to leave the organization, after a huge fight between him and Erlangmon.

As the conflict approached, JESmon would leave to meet Nezhamon in the small paradise he created to protect several Child-level Digimon from the war, many of whom had been saved from Tian Ji's actions and others who defected from the Newborn Army.

Nezhamon decides to ally with the Royal Knights who will oppose Tian Ji soon, which were: JESmon, Gankoomon, Ulforce V-dramon, Magnamon, Sleipmon and Dukemon, with Omegamon leading them, in addition to the absence of Alphamon, which went on a mission to try to discover a way to contact Yggdrasill, much to the relief of Takutoumon's disciple, who claims that it would be impossible to defeat Erlangmon and Alphamon together.

When D-Day arrived, Takutoumon, now in his Wrath Mode, saw his disciple for the last time as the two argue, and Takutoumon is asked if the destruction of so many Digimon was really Yggdrasill's will.

Leaving his master behind, unaware that he was surrounded by some members of the Seven Great Demon Lords, he would arrive at Tian Ji's base shortly after Erlangmon: Blast Mode destroyed Gankoomon, Magnamon, Ulforce V-dramon and Dukemon. Now face to face with his former leader, in order to prevent him from going after Omegamon, who went to Yggdrasill, Nezhamon claims that he has already surpassed his master, so the "Old Man" would not have been able to stop him, although Erlangmon claims that he only as still alive due to Takutoumon's mercy.

As the fight ensues, Erlangmon: Blast Mode realizes that Nezhamon has made a deal with the Newborn Army, then revealing that this confirms their suspicions about him being the calamitous Digimon that was originally in the seal protected by Takutoumon. The fight is interrupted by JESmon, who was sent back by Omegamon to warn that the Newborn Army had launched a massive attack against them, having tricked Nezhamon , waiting for the moment when he and Erlangmon were weakened.

Forming a temporary truce, the three Digimon return to the place where Takutoumon was, where the apprentice faces the vision that his master was defeated by the Demon Lords, with Lilithmon speaking about the delicious taste of the flesh blessed by the gods. With the situation becoming desperate by the appearance of the Four Ferocious Beasts, who had been sealed by Shakamon, and Lucemon: Falldown Mode, the leader of the Newborn Army, Nezhamon decides to use his ultimate move, using his own life to ignite his Digicore and open a passage to Erlangmon. Before his sacrifice, the young Digimon confesses that his master always knew he was the sealed Digimon, but pretended otherwise. All out of pity.

Nezhamon's sacrifice ends up allowing Erlangmon: Blast Mode to defeat Demon, Barbamon, Lilithmon and Belphemon: Sleep Mode in a single blow, temporarily sealing them.
