English[edit]
- The Dark Towers are known as "Control Spires" in the Saban dub.
- RedVegimon's voice in the Saban dub is an impersonation of actor Jack Nicholson.
- Almost all of the violence RedVegimon inflicts on Gabumon is cut from the Saban dub, with the exception of the scene where he is thrown off of a cliff.
- Yamato sings his character song, "Walk On The Edge", at his concert. In the Saban dub, this is replaced with an original song called "I Turn Around".
- Miyako's catchphrase, "Chosen Children, let's roll!", debuts in this episode. The Saban dub removes this catchphrase from every episode it appears in. The Animax dub changes it to "Chosen Children, move now!"
- As was the case with the first series, all mentions of poop are replaced with "DigiSludge". However, Saban accidentally leaves in a couple of shots featuring poop.
- The Animax dub incorrectly claims that Hikari has faced RedVegimon before.
- The scene where Daisuke mixes up "telepathy" and "delicacy" is handled differently in both dubs. In the Animax dub, Daisuke wonders why Takeru and Hikari are always so close to each other and accuses Takeru of having telepathy, which causes the others to laugh at him for not knowing what that means. In the Saban dub, he instead yells at Takeru and calls him "T.A.", which causes Iori to laugh at him for getting the name wrong.
- In the Japanese version, Daisuke badmouths his sister and says how much he hates her, leading Yamato to yell at him about not respecting his family. The Saban dub chooses to play this scene for laughs.
- RedVegimon's assault on V-mon is heavily censored in the Saban dub. Some impacts are replaced with white flashes, while others are cut out entirely.
- Most of the fight with RedVegimon consists of food puns in the Saban dub.
