• In the Japanese version, Armadimon is upset at Iori for being late in returning from his kendo lessons. This subplot is removed in the dub, which results in certain shots of Armadimon with a pouty look on his face not matching the new dialogue.

• All of the kendo exclamations are removed in the dub.

• Iori is asked by his grandfather if he’s lost focus because of a girl he likes. In the dub, he instead asks if he’s lost interest in martial arts.

• Iori’s grandfather is rewritten to have an obsession with prune juice in the dub.
