The Dark Digivice (ダークデジヴァイス Dāku Dejivaisu) is a model of Digivice used by Kurata Akihiro and his forces in Digimon Savers.
Overview[edit]
Design[edit]
The Dark Digivice resembles the standard Digivice iC, except for its chunkier design. There are two versions of its design: the model used by Kurata Akihiro's soldiers seven years in the past, as seen in the flashback in "The Heartless Past Revealed! Gizmon: AT", has a lumpier shell, while Kurata's present-day model has a more angular shell.
Dark Digivices require power from a separate power supply apparatus that is worn on the user's waist,[1] to which the Dark Digivice is connected by thick power cables (two cables for the earlier model, one cable for the present-day model) that plug into protrusions on its base.
Unlike the Digivice iC, the Dark Digivice's Realization lens[1] is mounted on its front, above its screen.

Digimon Savers[edit]
Kurata Akihiro and his forces are first known to have used Dark Digivices during his initial invasion of the Digital World, in the aftermath of the Digital World Exploration Party expedition. His soldiers utilized their Dark Digivices to deploy Gizmon against a Digimon population.[3]
By seven years later, Kurata had developed the ability for Dark Digivices to generate artificial Digisoul for use on his Gizmon.[2]
