Profile Name & Etymology Debut ⇨ Japanese The King of Scumon who rules over a landfill called "Dust Kingdom", its size is gargantuan. It wears something similar to a crown and is highly intelligent, and attacks with brute force in addition to throwing poop. Great King Scumon appears as an unobtainable Digimon NPC in Digimon World.

Great King Scumon is the filthy and rude ruler of the Trash Mountain, ruling over all the Scumon and other Digimon that live there. When meeting him, he shooes the Player away, but if the Player's partner is a Digimon that evolved into a Scumon, it'll offer the Player to revert the Scumon back to its original form.

There's an exploitable profit made to increase lifespan and stats, making it easier to evolve into a Perfect-level Digimon via this method: Make your Digimon potty on the ground 16 times until it evolves into a Scumon and take the Scumon to the Trash Mountain and show it to Great King Scumon, and it'll revert back to its original form, notably an increase on the stats. However this method has its drawbacks as potting on the ground decreases the Digimon's lifespan as well, as if the Scumon accidentally earns any stat, by either training or fighting, this particular stat will be lowered by half when reverting back to its original form.

Digimon World: Digital Card Arena

Great King Scumon is the Battle Master of Junk City's first Battle Arena. However, when the protagonist arrives in Junk City, it's been taken over by Shadramon. Unlike V-dramon and Garurumon before him, he's not under the Digimon Kaiser's control, and instead he orders the protagonist to beat Shadramon and retake the arena, promising the Passcode to the next city if he does. Upon reaching him in the Battle Arena, he tells the player to hurry up and beat him so he can get to Shadramon, once again ordering him around. Once Shadramon is beaten, however, Great King Scumon pretends he never did so, and forces him to clear the arena once again. In both cases, once beaten, he pretends he let the protagonist win.

Great King Scumon uses a Rare deck known as the Daiou Banzai Deck. It possesses an Attack and Evolution Speed of 1, but a Defense of 4, and uses cards that force its opponent to discard, making it a shameless deck. He's not obtainable as a card in the game, one of only three Digimon not to, alongside Black Metal Garurumon and Black War Greymon.

Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode

Great King Scumon was originally the master of the Underground Waterway Labyrinth, though by the time Taiga got to him, it had been taken over by Garurumon. If Taiga doesn't have a Scumon as a Partner Digimon, Great King Scumon will consider Digimaru ugly. Taiga can then him he wants to become garbage, which makes Great King Scumon evolve any Partner Digimon into Scumon. On the other hand, if Digimaru is currently a Scumon, Great King Scumon will consider it a good Digimon, and Taiga can tell him he disagrees, so Great King Scumon returns Digimaru to his previous form.

Great King Scumon is an unobtainable Digimon. The NPC version uses Scumon's talking sprite though it has an unique overworld model.
