Gate Crack

Gate Crack (ゲートクラック, Gēto Kurakku) is the cracking of a Wall Gate in Digimon Seekers. The method employed by the Sons of Chaos exploits a backdoor in the Digital World through the old-style Interfaces of Prototype Digimon.

Overview

The procedure requires simultaneous cracking using three Prototype Digimon representing the Data, Vaccine, and Virus Attributes. Each must possess the capacity to evolve to the Perfect level to meet the operation's requirements, although they can serve as interfaces in their Child forms. The cracking itself is performed by the operator; the Digimon function as intermediary devices.

During Operation Tartarus, Kisakata Kosuke performs Gate Crack using DORUmon, Ryudamon, and Loogamon as the Data, Vaccine, and Virus keys, respectively. Ryudamon is forcibly restrained for use as an interface.

The successful operation brings the group into the Primordial Domain, which DORUmon describes as the "Holy Grail" sought by the Sons of Chaos. Kosuke intends to exploit the domain to rescue Ryusenji Saya, while Ryusenji Tomonori seeks access to the primordial data he identifies as the Primordial Digimon.
