Terriermon Assistant appears as a guest NPC character, having been added "at the last second due to a personal request from Hara Ryosuke".[14]
Yuki Dan/Yuki Kanan can encounter it sitting on the sofa of the party's house in Central Town, after clearing "Gathering Storm Clouds" and returning. Speaking to it for the first time rewards them with one of each tier 1 Augment Chip. Terriermon Assistant is not present when Central Town is occupied by the Titans, but returns after "The God of Speed's Pleas". Speaking to it for a second time after clearing this main mission rewards the Agent with a Replica Research Badge.
