The strongest of the "Seven Great Demon Lords", it is an ultimate Demon Lord Digimon which possesses both the divine and the diabolic. It instigated a rebellion in the far-flung past, and so it was sealed in the Dark Area along with many other Demon Lord Digimon. Its power exceeds that of Ultimates, and is said to rival that of the existence called "God" as well. It has a contradictory existence, in that one side of it loves all things, as God does, while the other is trying to destroy the whole world, as the Devil does. Hence, once it destroys this world, it intends to create a fresh new world. Its Special Moves are "Paradise Lost", a destructive technique where, after launching the opponent high into the sky with a wild dance of blows, it holds their limbs fixed as it drives them back into the ground, and producing a three-dimensional magic circle as a glowing orb of holiness and evilness, within which it confines the opponent (Dead or Alive). When shut within this magic circle, it is a 50/50 decision whether the opponent is either completely annihilated or suffers great damage.
The effect on Lucemon's Digicore due to the X-Antibody
Although it is a Demon Lord-type, the way in which its six pairs of golden wings shine is divine like that of an Angel-type. Not only does its appearance far surpass that of the old Lucemon, but also its power and intellect, and has sublimated into the perfect being that transcends even God. Having gained the ultimate wisdom and power to do absolutely anything at will, Lucemon reigns in the Digital World as an incarnation of destruction and creation.
Its Special Move is arranging ten super-heated spheres of light in a cruciform syzygy and firing its light of annihilation (Seventh Divine Cruz). Digimon that suffer and die from this technique are said to have their Digicores absorbed into the Crown of Pride and transform into the flesh and blood of Lucemon.

Digimon Chronicle X[edit]

Lucemon is the main antagonist of the manga series. It leads the Seven Great Demon Lords and seeks the X-Antibody just to get stronger and complete its own goals. It was responsible for creating Keramon (X-Antibody) and evolving it into Diablomon (X-Antibody), then multiplying it into seven, which received the powers of the Seven Great Demon Lords and eventually fused into Ogudomon (X-Antibody), with Lucemon acting as its conscience. Before being defeated, Lucemon, from inside Ogudomon, reveals that it fell from grace when asking Yggdrasill to extinguish the fighting spirit of the Digimon for seeing it as an obstacle to mantain a peaceful world, but Yggdrasill denied its request. After Ogudomon X-Antibody is defeated for good, a Digitama appeared in front of JESmon (X-Antibody), who takes it with him on his new adventure through the Digital World and jokes that a new generation Royal Knight could be born from it.
