Freeze Hole (フリーズ・ホール Furīzu Hōru, dub name ROM Domain) is a location in Directory Continent.
Description[edit]
Freeze Hole is the Hole where Crimson hid for his final battle with Akira. It is inhabited by Data Attribute Digimon.

Digimon World 2[edit]
After being captured in Digital City, Damedabose accepted talking to Akira and revealed Crimson was in Freeze Hole, whose location they could get from his DigiBeetle Browser. Akira thanked Damedabose but he refused the thanks, as he was ordered by Crimson to tell Akira his location should he be captured. Akira's Leader (Vandar, Cecilia or Skull) nonetheless thanked Damedabose again and swore they would keep him safe, then called security to escort him out. Before he left, Damedabose asked Akira to help Crimson, as he was being controlled by an unknown force that had changed him. The Leader was surprised by this but restated that they had to stop Crimson either way, thus they ordered Akira to go to Freeze Hole to do so.
Crimson called to Akira on the 17th Floor of Freeze Hole. To Akira's confusion, he stated he had been waiting for him forever, then explained that this was a clash to settle who was the strongest organism between Akira, the strongest Tamer, and himself, who became a super organism by absorbing the digital DNA of the three Chaos Generals, briefly evolving into Neo Crimson to prove it. Returning to Crimson, he stated he'd become the strongest organism through ultimate evolution and challenged Akira to fight him to the death, evolving once more into Neo Crimson.
Neo Crimson is the final boss of Freeze Hole. It fights alone. During the fight, Neo Crimson can use Poison S-mush, Double Edge and Giga Blaster.
After being defeated, Crimson returned to normal in both body and mind. He took a moment to understand what had happened, then stated this must be his destiny. He told Akira he may be capable of succeeding where he failed and not to lose to the temptation of power, before saying he just wanted to return to the outside world and disappearing, finishing the Blood Knights.
