DigiQuartz

Sorry for our appearance, but this article currently needs a lot of work.
DigiQuartz (デジクオーツ, Dejikuōtsu) is a world introduced in Digimon Xros Wars: The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time. Created by Quartzmon from the data of the Real World, it resembles a distorted copy of the human world, with time flowing at a different rate. It is the principal setting of the Digimon Hunt.
Characteristics[edit]
DigiQuartz reproduces locations from the Real World, creating corresponding areas in both worlds. However, it is distinct from the Digital World visited during the conflict with the Bagra Army.
Digimon Hunters enter and leave DigiQuartz using their Xros Loader's Time Shift command, and can use the device to track Digimon across corresponding areas of both worlds. DigiQuartz can cause Digimon to become violent, but those captured by a Hunter's Xros Loader are protected from this effect and can subsequently be Reloaded to assist their new partner.
Quartzmon's influence restricts each Xros Loader to Reloading one Digimon at a time and performing DigiXros with only one additional Digimon stored inside it. Connecting multiple Xros Loaders allows larger combinations: a Double Xros can combine up to four Digimon, while a Great Xros involving four Hunters can combine up to eight. The Old Clock Shop Man initially presents these limitations as rules of the Digimon Hunt, but they are later revealed to result from Quartzmon's power.

Digimon Xros Wars: The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time[edit]
Akashi Tagiru encounters DigiQuartz and meets Gumdramon there. After receiving a Xros Loader from the Old Clock Shop Man, he begins participating in the Digimon Hunt alongside Kudou Taiki and Amano Yuu. Other Hunters also explore DigiQuartz and compete to capture its Digimon.
The connection between DigiQuartz and Quartzmon is revealed as the hunt develops. Quartzmon absorbs Digimon and uses their data to produce copies, while concealing its core within the Astamon accompanying Mogami Ryouma.
In ""All Will Be Revealed Now! The Secret of the Digimon Hunt!"", DigiQuartz begins merging with the Real World. Tokyo and other locations around the globe are affected as Quartzmon attempts to convert the entire world into DigiQuartz and eliminate the humanity it regards as imperfect.
After its concealed core reunites with its main body, Quartzmon accelerates the transformation and absorbs humans and Digimon on a global scale. Akashi Tagiru and Arresterdramon oppose it using the Brave Snatcher. Quartzmon's defeat by Xros Up Arresterdramon: Superior Mode reverses the transformation and eliminates DigiQuartz.
