The "Gaia Brave" technique refers directly back to both the Crest of Courage and to the techniques of War Greymon, like "Gaia Force" and "Brave Tornado"; the description of both Gaia Force (a "high-temperature energy shot") and Gaia Brave (an "ultra-high temperature energy shot") are nearly the same. Certain media, like Digimon Story: Time Stranger, depict the two "energy shots" as looking the same. This Digimon was introduced alongside Gabumon -Yujo no Kizuna- in Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna. Although the "Motorcycle Mode" of Gabumon -Yujo no Kizuna- has been rarely seen, when depicted alongside Agumon -Yuki no Kizuna- and its masked helmet, scarf, and belt motifs, the two make for a clear Kamen Rider homage.
