⇨ Japanese A Digimon whose ears and hands are composed of butterfly wings. It has feelings of enjoyment toward nature and a carefree personality. It touches anyone it has seen for the first time to determine whether they are safe to be around or not, and if they are, and if it has taken a liking to them, it will follow them. It seems that whenever its ear-wings move a lot, it is in a very good mood. Its "Rinrin Therapy", the scales that flutter as it flaps its wings, has the effect of soothing the mind and body, or conversely, paralyzing the body, and is used differently depending on the opponent.

Before the events of "Moaning Bug", Morphomon was caught by a researcher as it played on the internet. During the episode, it let loose red Rinrin Therapy scales from different devices into the Real World as a way to seek help, however, its emotions caused them to instead drive the Digimon that came in contact with them insane. Said Digimon included a Numemon, as well as Jellymon, Gammamon and Angoramon. Clockmon attempted to stop the maddened Digimon, and Mummymon researched the scales to find out what caused them. Their efforts ended up with them realizing that the red scales were going up to the Moon through a hijacked space station, which was now dyed red, and once enough were up, they'd fall down and drive every Digimon in the Real World insane. After Wezen Gammamon destroyed the space station with his Albion, Clockmon saved Morphomon and let it free.
