"Evolution" is the greatest feature of a Digimon! Their "Level" increases each time they evolve, and their appearance changes drastically, increasing their power, gya. This time, I'll be going over those Levels, gya.
|
|
|
|
| Digitama
|
| The "Eggs" of Digimon. Their patterns differ based on the species of Digimon that hatch from them and the region that they are from. When a Digimon that is powerful enough dies, it will leave behind a Digitama.
|
|
|
|
| Baby I
|
| The state immediately after hatching from a Digitama. Their composition data is unstable, so they are very weak. (This illustration is of Botamon)
|
|
|
|
| Baby II
|
| The evolved state of Baby I. Despite being unable to fight, their composition data has stabilized. (This illustration is of Koromon)
|
|
|
|
| Child
|
| A state in which their combat instincts have awakened as their intelligence has developed and they have started to get stronger. Although they can fight, they are still growing, and their subsequent evolution will change drastically depending on how they grow. (This illustration is of Agumon)

|
|
|
| Adult
|
| A state in which they have fully grown as a Digimon, becoming even more powerful and intelligent. Most Digimon stop growing at this Level. (This illustration is of Greymon)
|
|
|
|
| Perfect
|
| A form attained by exceptionally powerful Digimon among Adults. They possess overwhelming power compared to Adults, and when living in the wild, they often become the leader of the pack. (This illustration is of Metal Greymon)
|
|
|
|
| Ultimate
|
| A form attained by Perfects that have broken through their limits by surviving many battles. They are Digimon that often act alone due to their incredible power. On rare occasions, there are individuals that possess power surpassing the Ultimate Level. (This illustration is of War Greymon)

|
 Digimon "Evolution" 
|
| A phenomenon in which the structural information of their body changes drastically as a result of taking in large amounts of other data, increasing their power. In order to survive, they evolve into various forms, even those of same species, according to their habitat and latent abilities.
|
|
|
|
|
There are other Levels such as "Armor" and "Hybrid", but this time I've summarized the basic ones, gya. Only a handful of Digimon are capable of reaching the immensely powerful Ultimate Level. The reason why Digimon evolution doesn't have a straight path is because it is a means of survival in a world where the weak are food for the strong, gya.

|
デジモンの最大の特徴が「進化」！ 進化するごとに「レベル」が上がり、姿形が大きく変わりパワーアップするギャ。今回はその「レベル」について分析するギャ。
|
|
|
|
| デジタマ
|
| デジモンたちの「タマゴ」。生まれるデジモンの種類やその地域によって、模様が違う。一定の力を持ったデジモンが死亡するときに、デジタマを残す。
|
|
|
|
| 幼年期Ⅰ
|
| デジタマから生まれてすぐの状態。体を構成するデータが不安定で、とても弱い。（イラストはボタモン）
|
|
|
|
| 幼年期Ⅱ
|
| 幼年期Ⅰから進化した状態。戦うことはできないが、体を構成するデータは安定している。（イラストはコロモン）
|
|
|
|
| 成長期
|
| 知能が発達し力をつけ始め、戦う本能が目覚めた状態。戦えはするがまだまだ成長途中であり、成長の仕方で進化先は大きく変化する。（イラストはアグモン）
|
|
|
|
| 成熟期
|
| より強大な力と知能を得て、デジモンとして完成された状態。多くのデジモンたちは、このレベルで成長がストップする。（イラストはグレイモン）
|
|
|
|
| 完全体
|
| 成熟期の中でも、群を抜いて力が強いデジモンが至る姿。成熟期に比べ圧倒的な力を持ち、野生で暮らす場合は群れのリーダーになることが多い。（イラストはメタルグレイモン）
|
|
|
|
| 究極体
|
| 数多くの戦いを生き抜き、自身の限界を突破した完全体の至る姿。強大すぎる力ゆえに、単独で行動するデジモンが多い。まれに究極体を超えた力を持つ個体が存在する。（イラストはウォーグレイモン）

|
| デジモンの「進化」
|
| 他のデータを数多く取り込むことで体の構造情報が大きく変化し、パワーアップする現象のこと。生き残るために、生息地域や潜在能力に合わせて、同じ種族でもさまざまな形態に進化する。
|
|
|
|
|
|
レベルは他にも「ハイブリッド体」や「アーマー体」があるけど、今回は基礎的なものをまとめてみたギャ。強大な力を持つ究極体に至ることができるデジモンは、ほんの一握り。デジモンの進化が一本道ではないのは、弱肉強食の世界で生き残るための術なんだギャ。
