Appearances[edit]

Manga[edit]

Digimon Chronicle[edit]

Medieval Dukemon, the Vortex Warrior, appears in Digimon Chronicle as a form of Dukemon, the Royal Knight. Medieval Dukemon is how Dukemon appears in Witchelny, and is considered a legendary hero who saved the world from an unknown threat. In the New Digital World's Ulud Terminal, on the Rolan Continent, the Forest Leaf found in the forests allow Dukemon to take the form of Medieval Dukemon without travelling to Witchelny. Dukemon, using both its standard and Medieval Dukemon forms, opposes Musha Yuuji and Ryudamon, but instead of outright eliminating the duo, sets up a "trial" to test the power of the X-Antibody.

Digimon Liberator[edit]

While the Vortex Warriors as a group do not appear in the story, Kazama Shoto's partners, Muchomon and Pteromon, both take the form of the Vortex Warrior, Medieval Dukemon[6]. Pteromon also takes the forms of other Vortex Warriors, including Grand Galemon[7], Zephagamon[8], and Vortexdramon[9]. During "SHOW ME YOUR BRAVE HEART", Zephagamon is shown entering a special state by using Blast Evolution[10], evolving into BT20-101 Zephagamon ACE. As with the Digimon Card Game, Shoto's deck supports the Vortex Warriors trait.

Novel[edit]

Digimon Liberator[edit]

While the Vortex Warriors as a group do not appear in the story, Kazama Shoto's partner Muchomon takes the form of the Vortex Warrior, Medieval Dukemon, during a fight with an NPC in "THE BOUNDARY BETWEEN GREEN AND RED". It evolves from Delumon. As with the Digimon Card Game, Shoto's deck supports the Vortex Warriors trait, which includes EX8-074 Medieval Dukemon.

TCG[edit]

Digimon Card Game[edit]

Vortex Warrior is a trait in the Digimon Card Game, introduced in ST-18 Guardian Vortex. It's given to Digimon that form part of this group. Many of these Digimon cards feature or support the Vortex effect keyword.
