A Cyborg Digimon that is considered to be one of the elite within the aerial, covert honey base, "Royal Base". Protecting the queen, Queenbeemon—the highest ranked at the base—above all else, Vespamon are known as the "Royal Guard" elite guards, and it is said that a handful of the strongest among them are awarded codenames and evolve into Tiger Vespamon. It fights placing an emphasis on cooperation with its comrades, and will not hesitate to sacrifice its life for the queen or the base.
Its Special Move is an attack using the "Royal Lance", a spear that is shrouded in a beam (Mach Stinger). In its "Bee Phalanx" tactical formation, it deploys a hexagonal beam shield from the "Royal Shield", and shoots energy from the spear at its ready.

Digimon Liberator[edit]

Vespamon is the Partner Digimon of Saikiyo. He presumably obtained the BT19-052 Vespamon card from a seemingly-buggy drop prior to "Saikiyo", and first used it in his battle against the priest NPC of Emerald Coast in "GOOD GAME", having evolved Funbeemon prior to the chapter's start. He then evolved her into BT19-053 Queenbeemon.
