"Mad Pulse" is the opening song for Digimon Beatbreak, sung by MADKID and composed by pw.a and Yuka Niiyama.
Opening Description[edit]
The opening begins with a rough purple pulse line that is indicative of the Sapotama usage in evolution. As images are shown of a cell network, various images of people using their Sapotama, and a Sapotama showcasing its various uses, a narrator describes the following: "In the near future, e-Pulse is generated by human thoughts and emotions, and used as an energy source for AI devices called "Sapotamas," leading to a new development for humanity." The camera zooms out through the Shangri-La Egg before the scene switches to rows of Sapotamas as one starts to defect and display the word "Digimon". This then changes to a scene with Gekkomon with the camera rotating 360 degrees around, as the narrator says that "from its shadows, terrifying monsters have appeared. Monsters that evolve by consuming e-Pulse". The logo animation plays out afterwards, before showing a scene of Tenma Tomoro running as he tries to hold onto something.
The opening then shows Tomoro and Gekkomon behind a chain fence as Tomoro plays with drumsticks, followed by Sakuya Reina eating a bun in a night district with Pristimon on her back. Kuonji Makoto is then shown embracing Chiropmon in a lit flooded room, before showing Sawashiro Kyo near an worn down highway with Cougarmon in a yellow car. Vignettes of Glowing Dawn's daily activities are shown with a pulsing wave cutting through: Tomoro wakes up from his bed, Reina points at Tomoro and Makoto, leading to them and their Digimon catching fish, the group all huddled together in a car with Yoshimura driving them, Kutsuwada Maki in her cafe ready to give Glowing Dawn their assignment, Glowing Dawn in the midst of a battle, and the team celebrating as Gekkomon eats up all the food and Tomoro catches his tail causing him to fall through the pulsing waves. Tomoro is then seen in the middle of the street as everyone passes by; his eyes closed before opening to see everyone at Glowing Dawn, with Gekkomon showing last as Tomoro gives him his e-Pulse through his Sapotama.
In the next scene, Tomoro throws his Sapotama to the air as Gekkomon catches it and uses Swing Tackle. From the smoke, Wolvermon appears with her Rapid Burst ready to fire as it moves from Reina, Makoto, and Chiropmon, who uses Paralyze Echo. Murasamemon is ready to use Gō-no-zan: Murashigure as Kyo watches and continues directing the others. A shot then shows all of Glowing Dawn looking at the Shangri-La Egg. Each of the Five Stars are shown in order: Kutsuna Kaito, Klay Arslan, Sakai Honoka, Rose Woodville, and Kanada Genjo, who notably is seen holding his hand out before it switches out to Gokuwmon doing the same to a Sapotama, presumably Asuka's. Chairman Wong then appears, opening his own eyes while sitting in his chair as the feed glitches out. Rotating images of Tomoro and Gekkomon are shown with a pulse line indicative of the Sapotama's power. The opening then ends with a shot of Kyo turning his head to face foward, with Tomoro and the other readying their spray paint to spray their logo on an abandoned street. Everyone then leaves while Gekkomon catches up with his tongue.
