Satoru is the father of Kamishiro Yuuko and Kamishiro Yuugo. He was the founder and former CEO of Kamishiro Enterprises.

Before the start of the game, as CEO of Kamishiro Enterprises, Satoru fought off multiple scandals secretly started by Kishibe Rie, culminating in Rie secretly assassinating him to take his position as CEO.
In the new timeline created at the end of the game, Satoru's death was undone.
