Matadrmon is an antagonist in Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory. It conceals itself within the mask worn by Nogi Yu as K, manipulating him through his feelings for Amasawa Keisuke.
Profile[edit]
Matadrmon exploits Yu's insecurity and attachment to Keisuke to influence his actions. The mask enhances Yu's hacking abilities, leading him to believe that its power is his own. Its influence gradually develops into control over him.
Despite presenting itself as a source of assistance, Matadrmon treats Yu as a tool and mocks his feelings when its identity is exposed.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory[edit]
Yu finds the mask containing Matadrmon in Kowloon. After putting it on, he gains enhanced hacking abilities and begins operating as K. Under Matadrmon's influence, he steals Keisuke's account and manipulates events in an attempt to make Keisuke depend on him.
When Keisuke finally confronts K, Yu removes his mask and reveals his identity. Matadrmon then manifests from the mask, exposing its manipulation and ridiculing Yu's unsuccessful attempts to win Keisuke's affection. Keisuke defeats it, causing it to return to its mask form. Yu discards the mask, freeing himself from its influence.
Matadrmon later evolves into Grand Dracumon and reappears in the Abyss Server, where it confronts Keisuke again.
