Profile Name & Etymology Debut ⇨ Japanese A Digimon that evolved into the form of an ominous dragon that overwhelms those who see it by taking in data from heavy metal culture. It thinks of its battles as a show, has a belligerent personality in which it wanders around seeking "strong opponents" that are crucial for exciting its audience further, and will sometimes venture into the Dark Area, where evil beings thrive, in search of more exhilarating battles. Its Black Digizoid-clad body makes the sound of metal rubbing against metal whenever it rushes about, and constantly emits some kind of "noise", such as making a roaring sound, from its guitar-shaped wings. Many Digimon find it troublesome coming into contact with Heavy Metaldramon, and because of the sounds it constantly produces, it is also easily spotted by enemies, so it very rarely encounters an opponent. Its desire to seek out strong opponents grows stronger the longer the time between battles. In battle, it specializes in various fighting styles contrary to its appearance; this includes a thunderous roar that can shatter the earth, power that utilizes its huge, heavy body, and attacks that capitalize on the shape changing of Black Digizoid. Its Special Moves are pulverizing the enemy with a roaring sound emitted from its guitar-shaped wings (Black Sabbath), and spewing bluish-white hellfire from its mouth (Blue Murder Flame). Heavy Metaldramon is the Partner Digimon of Yuuki. She obtained the EX7-062 Heavy Metaldramon card from a seemingly-buggy drop in "Yuuki", and first used it during her rematch against a rogue NPC in "HEAVY METAL PLAY", evolving him from EX7-057 Loudmon from her trash thanks to her EX7-065 Yuuki's effect. It then activated its When Evolving Black Sabbath effect, letting it destroy the NPC's EX7-049 Metallicdramon as Heavy Metaldramon's DP was higher than Metallicdramon's.
