Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode[edit]

The second time Taiga goes to visit Wormmon in the Train Garage, the train that acts as its sanctuary suddenly activates on its own and takes them both to the Dark Area, which terrifies Wormmon. After Taiga calls it a coward, Wormmon gets greatly angered and evolves into Stingmon. The power of the evolution makes Stingmon regain its self-confidence, and with its newfound courage, it nudges the train, which returns them to the Train Garage. Afterwards, it proclaims it is not scared of anything or anyone anymore as a Digimon that's gone to the Dark Area and back, though it's worried about returning to its old self. Stingmon can then take Taiga to the Dark Area and back if asked to.

If Digimaru is an XV-mon, Stingmon will feel they're somehow connected and give his power to Digimaru to obtain a new evolution, Paildramon.
