Digimon which bear the name "Dramon" must possess dragon gene data in their Digicore, the higher the percentage of that data, the more the shape of a Digimon's body becomes dragon, however Coredramon's has become 100% so it is certainly a pure-blooded Dragon Digimon. As for Coredramon's green body, is it said to be the evolved form of a Dracomon which absorbed a large amount of a rare gem called "Green Malachite"^{[N 1]}, mined in dense woodland with trees over a hundred years old. This type of Coredramon is not good at flying, but its leg strength is highly-developed, and it is possible for it to run at speeds that are virtually unimaginable from its physique. Its Special Moves are firing glimmering green incandescent breath (Green Flare Breath) and inflicting fatal damage to the opponent using its powerful tail (Strike Bomber). Green Flare Breath is very highly penetrative, passing through the texture data on the surface of the body and inflicting damage to the Digicore directly as a result. Like Dracomon, it possesses scales referred to as "Gekirin"^{[N 2]} and when touched here, it loses its senses from excessive rage and after intensely radiating the horns on its head, it indiscriminately fires a laser beam from its mouth (G Shurunen-II).

「ドラモン」の名を冠するデジモンにはデジコアに必ず竜因子のデータを有しており、その竜因子データの割合が高ければ高いほど体の形状が竜型になっていくが、コアドラモンの竜因子データ割合は100％となっており、まさしく純血の竜型デジモンである。体表が緑のコアドラモンは、樹齢100年を超えた木々が茂る森林地帯で採掘される「グリーンマカライト」と呼ばれる希少な宝石を多量に摂取したドラコモンが進化した姿といわれている。このタイプのコアドラモンは飛翔することは得意としていないが脚力が非常に発達しており、その体躯からは想像できないほどの速度で走ることが可能である。必殺技は、緑色に輝く灼熱のブレスを放つ『グリーンフレアブレス』と強靭な尻尾を使って相手に痛恨の打撃を与える『ストライクボマー』。『グリーンフレアブレス』は浸透性が非常に高く、体表のテクスチャーデータをくぐりぬけ、直接デジコアへダメージを与えてしまう効果がある。ドラコモン同様に「逆鱗」といわれるウロコを持っており、ここに触れてしまうと怒りのあまり意識を失い、頭部の角を激しく発光させた後に口から放つ拡散レーザービーム『ジ・シュルネン-Ⅱ』を無差別に放ってしまう。
