Appearances
Novel
Digimon Liberator
Gemmon appears in "INTERLUDE". After mysteriously appearing in the Garden, it escapes by using exceptional hacking abilities that allow it to bypass security and access terminals and applications through the Internet. Unable to capture it, the management team sends Kazama Shoto and Sana S. Santos to attach tracking data to it. They locate Gemmon in the ruins of Amber Remains, surrounded by four mysterious shadowy entities. Shoto summons Pteromon, and the pair move to protect the frightened Digimon.

Digimon Alysion
Hondo Kanata, someone Futre befriended online and encouraged to join the Digimon Liberator game, travels to Emerald Forest for the first time to meet Futre. There, the two are interrupted by Valner Dragnogh and Renamon, who urgently wish to speak to Futre, leading to them challenging Kanata to a card battle. Futre reveals herself to be the Digimon, Gemmon, and helps Kanata with the battle. As Renamon evolves, Futre as Gemmon evolves to the forms of Liskmon and Reptilimon. This battle is interrupted by a figure named "Shoto Kazama (Black)"[N 1] A Pteromon attacks Renamon, before the figure forces Kanata into a card battle. Futre notes this Pteromon looks unlike any Pteromon she knows of, before evolving into her Ultimate form, Rubeusdramon to take on the mysterious Zephagamon used by the figure.
Later, Kurusu Koga shows up for his scheduled meeting with Futre, and introduces himself to Kanata alongside his partner, Herissmon, who is still in Koga’s D-Storage.
