Digimon Adventure:[edit]
Several Gekomon serve Tonosama Gekomon in "The Geko Hot Springs' Revolt".
The Gekomon, alongside the rest of the hot springs Digimon, reappeared in "Vikemon Ventures the Glaciers". After their hot springs went dry, Kido Joe decided to lead them to a new, warm place as described by Kabukimon. However, they instead ended up going through an extremely cold, snowy area, and would've died there had Tachikawa Mimi and the Digimon of Babamon's school not appeared to save them with their Blimpmon. Said Blimpmon was then attacked by Olegmon and his pirate crew, who wanted to take their food.
Olegmon and his crew of Hangyomon and Gawappamon, alongside the Babamon Digimon School students Bancho Mamemon, several Tanemon and Lalamon, and Joe's servants and friends Tonosama Gekomon, Kabukimon, Blossomon, Nanimon, Gekomon and Dondokomon, reacted to the attack of a group of Soundbirdmon in "The Angels' Determination".
After Negamon was finally defeated in "The End of the Adventure", Olegmon and Tonosama Gekomon drank with each other on a ship as Kabukimon, Dondokomon, a Hangyomon and a Gawappamon partied, with a Gekomon, two Nanimon and Blossomon being with them as well.
Digimon Ghost Game[edit]
Gekomon followed Tonosama Gekomon in "Jiraiya", stopping the humans on his back from calling for help or letting him know they were being absorbed into him, including Higashimitarai Kiyoshiro. He also took in the data of the humans Tonosama Gekomon attacked with his Kobushi Tone.
After Gulus Gammamon threatened to kill Tonosama Gekomon, Gekomon saved the humans on his back with his Crash Symphony so Gulus Gammamon couldn't make good on his threat. After Gulus Gammamon returned to Gammamon, Gekomon restored all the people Tonosama Gekomon attacked. The latter threw a fit, as he wanted Jiraiya to ride on his back, but Angoramon convinced Gekomon he could be Jiraiya instead, and Tonosama Gekomon accepted that. Finally, Soma Meru invited them to live with her, as living with monsters felt like something out of an anime.

Digimon Adventure[edit]
A group of Gekomon appear in Episode 29, "The Sleeping Tyrant! Tonosama Gekomon". They live in Tonosama Gekomon's Castle and their lord, the eponymous Tonosama Gekomon, has been asleep for 300 years after losing a karaoke match and needs to hear a singing voice more beautiful than the one that defeated him to wake up. Pico Devimon takes the chance to set a trap for the Chosen Children by telling the Gekomon that serve him that he had seen an amazing singer.
Later on, a Gekomon and an Otamamon found Tachikawa Mimi and Palmon close to the castle. Recognizing the former as the singer Pico Devimon told them about, they asked them to come into the castle to help Tonosama Gekomon. While Palmon wanted to help them, Mimi refused as she could not walk anymore, though her opinion quickly changed as Gekomon and Otamamon offered their best hospitality and a fluffy bed. However, this was exactly what Pico Devimon intended, as he thought this would lead to the Crest of Purity never glowing. They then followed the Digimon duo up a mountain, before finding themselves in the castle's entrance, though tired from their walk.
After Yagami Taichi, Agumon, Kido Jo and Gomamon arrived at the door of the castle, they found the Gekomon and Otamamon pair asking them for help. After inviting them into the castle, the Digimon duo explained that the help they had brought in for Tonosama Gekomon ended up becoming an issue instead with her continuous demands, making Jo and Taichi think she must be a very selfish girl. Said selfish girl then arrived, dressed up like a princess and acting the part. Taichi was glad she was safe but wanted them to leave, which Mimi objected to, as she didn't want to put herself in danger now that she found a place where she had everything, especially since they had no guarantee they could go back to the Real World. Palmon then arrived and didn't understand why Mimi was angry, and Mimi ordered the Gekomon and Otamamon to remove Taichi, Jo, Agumon and Gomamon from the castle. They then asked the group for forgiveness, as they could not disobey their princess, even though Taichi pointed out they were the cause of her attitude and knew fully well Mimi would never help them. Jo instead decided they should just bug Mimi's room to record her singing. In order to get there, Gekomon told the group about an underground passage that lead to Mimi's room and Otamamon told them about recording equipment Tonosama Gekomon had brought into the castle for karaoke that was in the underground storeroom. Their journey would not be easy, though, as elite troops that loved Mimi were in the underground passage. Indeed, upon finding the recording in the device, the group was attacked by two Gekomon.
After defeating the Gekomon, the group planted the recording device outside Mimi's room. Taking advantage of her boredom, Gekomon and Otamamon asked her if she wanted to do some karaoke. While they managed to convince her to do so, she soon found the recording in the device, as well as Taichi and Jo. In anger, she threw the Chosen Child duo and their Digimon into a cell.
After Mimi came back to her senses, she asked everyone for forgiveness on the same stage where Tonosama Gekomon slept. Accepting her feelings, everyone, including the Gekomon and Otamamon, then encouraged her to sing. Her song indeed woke up Tonosama Gekomon, but he was mad at that as he was sleeping peacefully. After beating Tonosama Gekomon, he promised never to go crazy again then fainted, with Mimi wishing he'd never wake up again.
Gekomon appear as random enemies from Episode 29, "The Sleeping Tyrant! Tonosama Gekomon" onwards. They can use Crash Symphony to deal multiple hits and Shock to the entire party, and Noisy Echo to deal damage to one Digimon.
Two Gekomon also appear as the thirty-fourth obligatory boss of the game in Episode 29, "The Sleeping Tyrant! Tonosama Gekomon" when Taichi and Jo found the recorder in the underground. They use the same attacks as the random enemy Gekomon.
The Chosen Children returned to Tonosama Gekomon's Castle in Sub-Episode 13, "Karaoke Competition". Two Gekomon and an Otamamon recieved them at the castle's gate and immediately asked them for help, as, while they were happy their lord had woken up thanks to Mimi's song, now he would sing karaoke from dawn to dusk and wouldn't let his retainers sleep. As such, they wanted Mimi to beat him in a karaoke contest, so he would lose his confidence. However, Izumi Koshiro pointed out that would only make him focus more on practicing karaoke. The Gekomon and Otamamon agreed, and then another Otamamon appeared, who had found the manual to make a medicine that would change the volume of Tonosama Gekomon's voice, something that would allow Tonosama Gekomon to sing and them to sleep. As such, they instead asked Mimi to help them make the medicine, which she agreed to compensate them for what she did before. The three materials for the medicine were hidden in the castle's basement, divided and stored in various places. The Chosen Children found all three and gave them to a Gekomon, and then an Otamamon made the medicine. However, this was not enough, as they needed Tonosama Gekomon to drink it, and mixing it in his food wouldn't work as he was picky about tastes. Mimi attempted to sneak behind Tonosama Gekomon, but he noticed her and, following a huge roar, attacked the Chosen Children.
Upon being defeated once again, Tonosama Gekomon realized he was causing everyone trouble and decided to limit his karaoke training from morning to evening. The Gekomon thanked Mimi and gave her an Auto Heal DigiPiece.
Mimi, Jo, Leomon and Orgemon found Otamamon and Gekomon again in Episode 54, "Metal Etemon's Counterattack". They were terrified, but calmed down after seeing Mimi and explained that the Dark Masters collapsed Tonosama Gekomon's Castle, but they were able to escape with their lives. Gekomon and Otamamon were present for Saber Leomon's fight with Metal Etemon and his ultimate demise, and were the first to join Orgemon's proposal for gathering allies to fight the Dark Masters, although Mimi refused them unless they stopped calling her "princess", which they did.
Gekomon and Otamamon realized how tired Mimi was and wanted to get her food in Episode 60, "Fight with Darkness". While Mimi didn't intend to be pampered, they still wanted to help her, and Yukidarumon joined them. They found her food and cola, though the latter wasn't cold, but Yukidarumon fixed that issue and Meramon started a fire and cooked the food, making Orgemon realize how useful they were.
After Piemon summoned a group of Evilmon to surround the Chosen Children in Episode 61, "The Clown from Hell, Piemon", they were all blown away by a Haouken from Orgemon, who had arrived alongside Gekomon, Otamamon, Yukidarumon, Meramon and Elecmon. Orgemon was excited to take the Evilmon on, to Piemon's anger. The group decided to take on the small fries themselves while the Chosen Children dealt with Piemon.
Two Gekomon met Mimi in Episode 63, "A New World" as she searched for Palmon, though they had not seen her either. As the Chosen Children prepared to leave, the Gekomon found Palmon and told her Mimi was looking for her, but she didn't want to see her since it'd make their parting hurt even more. The Gekomon asked her several times if she was truly fine with that.
Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode[edit]
Gekomon is an unobtainable Digimon.
After activating the first Memorial Stella, a Punimon from the Village of Beginnings mails Taiga, asking him for food as it's extremely hungry. Taiga gives it a piece of meat, which not only fills it, it also evolves it into Gekomon, though this makes it even hungrier. After activating the second Memorial Stella, Gekomon sends Taiga a mail, saying it kept getting hungrier as it evolved, and it left the Village of Beginnings to Railroad Plains to get more food but found little, so it was now stuck in front of a vending machine and out of money. By the time Taiga finds it, it had evolved once again into Tonosama Gekomon.
A Gigimon picked up trash for Tonosama Gekomon outside DoReMiFa Mansion for money to buy a Meat Field, then left the job after getting tired of it. However, it hadn't accrued enough money and didn't know how to get more. It then evolved into Gekomon, which it thought it could use to charge higher hourly rates. To do so, it left to connect with another Gekomon. It then returns to working for Tonosama Gekomon, with an hourly wage of 5 bits.
