The X-Antibody Indicator (X抗体インジケーター X-Koutai Indikeetaa), also referred to as the XAI System (XAIシステム Sai Shisutemu) is a system which displays the status of the X-Antibodies. It was created by Yggdrasil in order to tell apart X-Antibody Digimon from regular Digimon. Later it was also implemented on the Pendulum X.

Manga[edit]

Digimon Chronicle[edit]

In "X-Evolution", to fight Okuwamon, Doumoto Kouta activated the X-Cast and XAI System of his Digimon Pendulum X so DORUmon could shoot a strengthened Metal Cannon at Okuwamon. After War Greymon rescued them, Kouta heard DORUmon's heart from the XAI System. The Pendulum X and its XAI shone, and DORUmon evolved.

In "X-CAST", Kouta wanted to crush a group of Allomon (X-Antibody) with the X-Cast, but the XAI System did not activate despite him shaking his Digimon Pendulum X. Kouta tried again, but it still did not work. Later, after Musha Yuuji refused to let himself be stopped by his fear of failure, he activated the XAI System by shaking his Digimon Pendulum X, even if it made his wounds bleed and cause him pain. With the X-Cast active, the X-Antibody shone in Ryudamon's eyes, and he attacked Ultimate Brachimon with Tera Burst.

Digimon Pendulum X[edit]

If the XAI system is activated, via the Pendulum X, and it detects the X-Antibody present, it will begin to alter the Digimon itself, resulting in an X-Antibody Digimon.
