A Demon Lord Digimon that leads all of the Demon and Fallen Angel Digimon. It was originally an Angel Digimon of the highest rank, but because of a failed plot to rebel against the Digital World's creator, it was banished to the Dark Area. It will one day conquer the Digital World in revenge. Also, it plotted to secretly revive the "Super-Ultimate Digimon"...

SGDM

Does anyone know if the Demon of the Manga Adventure V-Tamer 01 is part of the Seven Great Demon Lords? I've been looking in the net and some pages consider in this way and some not. Thanks.

I don't know if the SGDL were ever mentioned in the V-Tamer manga, but the manga was rather close to its conclusion when the term was introduced (early 2003, I think). The two cards of V-Tamer Demon make no mention of them, either, though the unobtainable Demon's design in Digimon Story is that of the manga incarnation. Well, it may be a retcon, isn't it? Anyway it's not clear at all. What does the last part means? What things you don't treat separately? Sorry I've lost.

Sorry for not signing, I'd forgotten. Now I've get what you meant about design of Demon. Paying attention on UlforceVeedramon case, for instance, they didn't use the same image as you can see in Bo-3v and UlfoceVeedramon Story. In addition, in the Xros Wars manga it is known that the UlforceVeedramon of the Royal Knights is the same as the Adventure V-Tamer one, despite RK debut as a group is after the events in V-Tamer (I think); it's an intesting topic :) Charles.929 (talk) 10:02, 24 July 2013 (CDT)

Name

Is there any chance that the attack "Algol's Flame" should be "Algor's Flame", as in algor mortis? I don't know what "Algol" is supposed to refer to.

Algol is a binary star in the constellation of Perseus which represents the head of Medusa. In traditional astrology it's said to have a wicked and violent influence, including decapitation. Splitting into two pages

Dēmon

as it turns out, this digimon should not actually be Demon. The way the names are translated here, and elsewhere, are as Demon and Vamdemon but this actually now can cause issues in that the name implies it has Demon in it, but the name actually is Dēmon. Vamdemon actually has ヴァンデモン which doesnt have デーモン as its name is not Vamdēmon. similar issue with Bl-impmon and G-algomon not counting as Impmon and Algomon. none of this even came to mind until the new rulings for the english card game discounting this sort of stuff. i guess those would be something like Blimpumon and Alugomon. demon doesnt even give the correct pronunication of the digimon, since it would be pronounced daemon.Muur (talk) 14:52, 27 August 2023 (CDT)

Real life doesn't follow card game rules. Only an idiot would complain that we should change the spelling of the English words "carton" and "ton" because they contain the same three letters but have no relation in meaning. The spellings are fine as they are. Robes or Devil?
