The episode begins with the chosen riding Trailmon Franken pondering if the other children made it back to the Real World safely. They become depressed over their constant loses to the Royal Knights. Bokomon suggests going to the Village of Beginnings which they believe is safe from being scanned because Lucemon wouldn't want to rule a world without Digimon in it since it is where Digitama return to. They meet Swanmon who protects the Village of Beginnings and witness a Bubbmon being born. The four ex-evil Hybrid's data in Takuya and Kouji's Digivices start reacting to the presence of their Digitama's. Swanmon tells them that usually after the Digitama hatch they are taken to different parts of the Digital World, but the Trailmon stopped coming after the Mamenoki Village had been scanned, and they had hidden away in a tunnel. The Children help Swanmon look after the baby Digimon until they get them to sleep.
After this, they go to speak with the Trailmon while the Royal Knights approach the Village of Beginnings. The Trailmon refuse to help out of fear. Dynasmon and Lord Knightmon arrive at the Village of Beginnings and effortlessly defeat Swanmon before the Chosen arrive. They tell the Royal Knights that if they scan the Village of Beginnings that Digimon won't be reborn anymore, but Dynasmon just remarks that they will clone and copy Digimon, which could be controlled easier by Lucemon. Takuya and Kouji hyper spirit evolve into Kaiser Greymon and Magna Garurumon to face the Royal Knights, but Dynasmon and Lord Knightmon say they are not here to fight them, but to scan the Digicode. The Royal Knights start to scan the code, but are stopped by the two. The Royal Knights begin to attack Kaiser Greymon and Magna Garurumon relentlessly, while the others begin to move the Digitama. Izumi runs to the Trailmon and talks them into carrying the Digitama. Four Digitama begin to glow just as the Royal Knights beat Kaiser Greymon and Magna Garurumon. Kouji asks why the Royal Knights want to destroy everything. Dynasmon responds that Lucemon's wish is the power to control. Takuya questions whether their wishes were the same as Lucemon, angering Dynasmon into using his Breath of Wyvern attack, but several baby Digimon use their Acid Bubble attack, nullifying it. The Trailmon arrive, allowing the Chosen to begin loading the Digitama. The four Digitama holding the ex-evil hybrids data fly to Takuya and Kouji and merge with their human spirits too, allowing Mercuremon, Ranamon, Arbormon, and Grottomon to form. Seeing this, the Chosen spirit evolve into their human hybrids and all ten attack simultaneously. The Royal Knights avoid the attack and scan the Village of Beginnings before retreating. The Chosen take some pleasure in knowing they saved the Digitama. The ex-evil hybrid's spirits return to Takuya and Kouji's Digivices and their Digitamas join the others in the Trailmon.
