Digimon Frontier: Revival of the Ancient Digimon!![edit]
Bearmon is a member of the Beast Digimon clan that inhabits the Wandering Island, and is the younger brother of the commander of their army, Gryzmon. He is friends with Kotemon of the Human Digimon clan, which put the two at odds with their brothers.
Digimon Xros Wars & The Evil Death Generals and the Seven Kingdoms[edit]
Several Bearmon inhabit the Magma Zone, where they had been forced into slave labor by Ancient Volcamon to try and find the hidden Code Crown. In "Volcano Digimon, Eruption!", Dorulumon and Cutemon encounter one of these Bearmon, who is trapped in a bag, and it tells them that Cutemon's parents are being held captive at the excavation site, prompting them to return there and assist Xros Heart. Some other Bearmon are part of the group of Digimon held in the underground prison in "Fierce General Tactimon, Close In!", and it assist Xros Heart and the other prisoner Digimon in digging a tunnel to escape their cell. When the group are confronted by Death Meramon and his Meramon subordinates, the Bearmon and the other inhabitants escape while Xros Heart holds them off. After Xros Heart takes the Magma Zone Code Crown in "Dorulumon, Run Like the Wind!", five Bearmon are among the Digimon who rush to thank Xros Heart.
Bearmon are seen in two flashbacks: in "Sand Zone, A Great Adventure in the Ruins!", one appears as Jijimon explains the history of the Digital World separating into Zones; and in "Glorious DigiXros, Seize It! Our Future!!", during Examon and War Greymon's discussion of the rise of Bagramon, a Bearmon is depicted being transformed into a Gryzmon in Bagramon's army.
In Taiki and Kiriha VS the Bagra Army, A Complete Showdown! , during the montage of former enemy Digimon being reborn as good Digimon due to the Code Crown responding to Kudou Taiki, numerous Volcano Zone Bearmon witness the resurrection of Ancient Volcamon.
When Kudou Taiki forms Shoutmon X7: Superior Mode in "Glorious DigiXros, Seize It! Our Future!!", some Bearmon are among the thousands of Digimon who are called from the Digital World to contribute to the Final Xros.

Digimon Adventure:[edit]
A Bearmon is part of Neamon's group of migrants. In "The Wolf Standing Atop the Desert", they wish to cross the desert to find Leomon and a safe place to live, but are unable to do so because of Scorpiomon. Ishida Yamato, Takenouchi Sora, and Kido Joe fight Scorpiomon to get them safe passage.
By the time of "The Tears of Shakkoumon", Bearmon and the rest of Neamon's group have joined Junkmon and are working to build a new village, and Sora and Piyomon assist them.
Bearmon appears again in "The Angels' Determination" and "The End of the Adventure".
Digimon Ghost Game[edit]
In "The Land of Children", a Bearmon is among the Digimon who have befriended human children who are being held captive, toegher with the children, in Petermon's Never-Ever Land. Following the example of the two Orcamon, it is inspired to evolve as well to protect its human friend, and becomes Gryzmon.

Bearmon is a starter Digimon who is available in the Maniac Pack alongside Guilmon and Patamon. If the player did not pick the Maniac Pack, they may obtain Bearmon later in the game by defeating Grappu Leomon in the Ether Jungle, then giving the Bearmon DDNA that it drops to DRI Agent Yuji in the Infinity Desert.
It also appears as a card for Card Battles.
In the opening video, a Bearmon Jogresses with a Guilmon to form Dukemon, and engages a Beelzebumon who had been menacing them in battle.

Bearmon is an obtainable Digimon. However, it cannot be encountered and obtained directly, but must be devolved from either a Gryzmon from Bug Bug Jungle or a Leomon from Old Canyon.
