⇨ Japanese Another form of Sistermon Noir. Wearing the wimple on its head causes the Holy Stigma to appear on its chest, awakening its power. Its keenness has risen due the feral power drawn out by its awakening, and it brings down the enemy with a stooped-over stance.

Sistermon Noir (Awake)'s design and coloration bears a strong resemblance to traditional Catholic nuns. Due to this, according to Digimon video game producer Habu Kazumasa, Bandai considers it unfeasible to feature this Digimon in North American material due to religious sensitivities. As such, in the North American localizations of the Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth games and the English version of the Digimon Card Game, Sistermon Noir (Awake) is totally replaced with Sistermon Ciel (Awake), who was originally created specifically as a replacement for it in the localization of Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Hacker's Memory.[1] This does not affect the European releases of Hacker's Memory, which continue to feature Sistermon Noir (Awake), but does affect copies of the English version of the Digimon Card Game that are sold in that region.
Bandai has published a ruling on the Digimon Card Game official site that accommodates for the replacement of Sistermon Noir (Awake) with Sistermon Ciel (Awake). It establishes that, in order to ensure equality in international tournament play, Japanese Sistermon Noir (Awake) cards and their English replacement Sistermon Ciel (Awake) cards are treated as one and the same, and as having all of the properties of their counterpart in the other version of the game.[2]
Sistermon Noir (Awake) still makes minor appearances in some North American localized material. It still has an entry in the Digimon Encyclopedia, the English-language version of the Digimon Reference Book on Digimon Web, and it still appears in Digimon Heroes!, the international version of Digimon Crusader.
