The reason why it is a Tyranomon plush toy is unclear, but it is likely that the mysterious Digimon that is stealing away inside just broke into the plush toy that was closest. However, this plush toy possesses power rivaling that of Monzaemon at its limits and the defensive power of an impregnable fortress, so ordinary Digimon and the like are completely unable to oppose it. However, like Monzaemon, if nothing is pulling its strings, then it is nothing but an ornament. Its Special Moves are "Pretty Attack", which emanates from its adorable body, and an evil orb unleashed by the Digimon hiding within it (Black Matter). Ex-Tyranomon and Waru Monzaemon were dangerous Digimon that emerged from Aramaki Kayono's closet in "Bad Friend". They manipulated her by making her think they were her friends so she'd allow them to turn humans into dolls through Ex-Tyranomon's Dark Matter, including Kayono's father, teacher and Udagawa Aoi, who wanted to check on her. While acting and pretending to be friendly, Ex-Tyranomon and Waru Monzaemon respectively starts all of their sentences with "nee, nee~", "naa, naa~" in succession. This is an act rather than a real verbal tic, and they quickly drop it when they show their true colors.

They then made her leave home to turn even more humans into dolls for increasingly petty reasons, such as Higashimitarai Kiyoshiro who bumped into her, alongside Jellymon. They then ended up in a park where they cleared it out of people, claiming a total of around 38 victims before being stopped. The last victims were Tsukiyono Ruli and Symbare Angoramon, who took a point blank Dark Matter during the fight against the Digimon. The dolls cannot be reversed even after Ex-Tyrannomon is defeated, and can only be reversed through its own Pretty Attack, and any bodily damage done to the dolls will carry over to the person even after they are reverted to their original forms.

Following Monzaemon, Amanokawa Hiro and Tsukiyono Ruli confronted the duo, who stopped acting as they were brought into a pseudo-Digital World without Kayono and revealed they didn't care at all about her, she was just a convenient human to allow them to do as they pleased. Monzaemon, who had entered the pseudo-Digital World, then used his Lovely Attack on them, stopping them and turning them into good Digimon, after which they asked for forgiveness. After Kayono stitched all of the broken dolls, ExTyrannomon undid the doll transformations with its Pretty Attack.

During their Friendly Battle in "DigitalGate Open", in later turns, Kazama Shoto evolved an unknown Digimon into a Cockatrimon but it was immediately defeated by Kinosaki Arisa's Ex-Tyranomon, itself also evolved from an unseen Digimon.
