Before the events of "Activate, Metal Garurumon", Machmon made a deal with Parasimon to gain greater abilities to beat the Digimon Grand Prix, allowing himself to be possessed by the latter. During Machmon's last race with Garurumon, he aimed to kill himself alongside Parasimon, and tried to avoid having Parasimon hurt Garurumon. However, Ishida Yamato and Garurumon decided to save Machmon instead, and, after evolving into Metal Garurumon, accomplished that feat by destroying Parasimon.

During their encounter in Junk Factory, Sue Ann attacks the Player with a Mugendramon, a Lady Devimon and a Parasimon.

Can be evolved from Nanomon if above level 48, with an Aptitude of 52 or more and a total Darkness experience of 8,800 or more. Can also be Jogress evolved from Archnemon with Ex-Tyranomon if above level 43, with a total Machine experience of 3,000 or more and a a total Darkness experience of 6,500 or more.
A Parasimon, along with a Vademon and a Moon Millenniumon, appears as an opponent sent by one of the Tamers that ascend you to the Silver Rank if you defeat them.
