Ultimate

Ultimate (究極体 Kyuukyokutai) is the term used which refers to the 6th (and beyond) stage of Digimon evolution, also referred to as level VI. (Dub: Mega. For the dubbed "Ultimate" level, see Perfect.).
Ultimate Digimon are those who have attained the final stage of evolution. Rarely encountered, these Digimon tend to be extraordinarily powerful. Evolution is still observed, though rarely, to other Ultimate Digimon. Ultimate II is extremely rare, with Ultimate III only having two instances, Imperialdramon Paladin Mode and Ultimate Chaosmon. Ultimate II is sometimes referred to, particularly in Digimon Adventure V-Tamer, as "Super Ultimate" (超究極体 Chou Kyuukyokutai).
(Note: "Kyuukyokutai" and "Chou Kyuukyokutai" are literally translated as "Ultimate Body", an official translation by Toei, and "Super Ultimate Body" respectively.)
