It is called the "Digicore Predator" because its own activity is dependent on the Digicores of other Digimon, and is nothing but a threat to them. By continuously preying on the Digicores of other Digimon, it is active despite its deceased condition, and since it stores vast amounts of Digicore information within its body, its entire body is covered in restraints, and so it is barely able to function as a single Digimon. Its Special Moves are blasting everything away except the enemy's Digicore (Metal Impulse) and "DORU Din". Digital Monster X-evolution

After it had ordered Magnamon of the Royal Knights to captures DORUgamon and bring him to it, Yggdrasill analyzed DORUgamon's data and created Death-X DORUgoramon from it. From there, Death-X DORUgoramon created hundreds of Digitama containing Death-X DORUguremon. It was later confronted by Alphamon and Omegamon when it was summoned by Yggdrasill. Although Omegamon barely hurt it, Alphamon easily destroyed it with a single attack. It was later revived by Yggdrasill as Death-X-mon to defend it.

Death-X-DORUgoramon is the Partner Digimon of Kisakata Kosuke. He took this form in "Chapter 4 Sons of Chaos: Seekers".

When Omegamon X defeated DORUgoramon it forces him to evolve into Death-X-DORUgoramon. In an attempt to kill it, the management system of the New Digital World managed to transfer Death-X-DORUgoramon to the Skuld Terminal and remove its life data "DORUmon". Nevertheless, this only caused it to Death-X-Evolve once more, turning it into Dexmon. It only appears in the booklets of the manga.

Death-X-DORUgoramon get its life data "DORUmon" removed from its body and begins transfer to the Skuld Terminal.

Death-X-DORUgoramon is the crux of Ryusenji Tomonori's plan. After Nagasumi Eiji and Loogamon defeated DORUgoramon, Ryusenji overloaded it with data and caused its body to contort in bizarre ways and cease functioning, transforming it into the zombie Death-X-DORUgoramon. Despite initially getting the upper hand, it was defeated in one hit and reverted into DORUmon by the Jogress Evolution between Loogamon and Pulsemon, Fenriloogamon: Takemikazuchi.
