If it detects a Digicore it will absorb it into its body and disassemble it, then reassemble it in a perpetually repeating set of processes named "Process 0" through "Process F". Although it is a simple program, it is conjectured that defeating it is within the realm of impossibility. Unless there are Digicores nearby, it will go into stasis, but as long as there are Digicores it will not cease. Digital Monster X-evolution

When Alphamon and Omegamon invade its inner sanctuary, Yggdrasill revives the defeated Death-X-DORUgoramon as Death-X-mon and summons it to fight them. While Omegamon lacks the strength to meaningfully fight Death-X-mon, Alphamon—having manifested his Ultimate Battle-Blade Ouryuken—realizes that the same damage he inflicts on Death-X-mon is also incurred unto himself. Realizing what this means, Alphamon impales both himself and Death-X-mon on Ouryuken, explaining to Omegamon that it was the only way; Death-X-mon, having ultimately been created from DORUmon's data, is his shadow. The two dying Digimon then recombine into an unconscious DORUmon, ending Death-X-mon's threat.

Digimon Chronicle

When Omegamon (X-Antibody) defeated DORUgoramon it forces him to evolve into Death-X-DORUgoramon. In an attempt to kill it, the management system of the New Digital World managed to transfer Death-X-DORUgoramon to the Skuld Terminal and remove its life data "DORUmon". Nevertheless, this only caused it to Death-X-Evolve once more, turning it into Death-X-mon. Omegamon X faced Death-X-mon but was unable to defeat it, as Death-X-mon was unaffected by its new ability Omega inForce and even its strongest attack, "All Delete". Eventually, Alphamon and Ouryumon go to the Skuld Terminal to face Death-X-mon. While Ouryumon is killed by Death-X-mon, Alphamon is able to use his data to evolve into Alphamon: Ouryuken and defeats it.

Death-X-mon is briefly mentioned during the flashback that explains what happened to Doumoto Kouta, Musha Yuuji, Alphamon, Ouryumon, Omegamon (X-Antibody), and Dukemon (X-Antibody) after the events of "Digimon Chronicle".

Digimon Seekers

Ryusenji Tomonori's plan involves him using Death-X-DORUgoramon to devour and obtain all three Prototype Digimon's Digicores and awaken it into the "Source Digimon". It was heavily implied that the "Source Digimon" was Death-X-mon. However, his plan did not come into fruition as Death-X-Dorugoramon was instantly defeated and reverted back to DORUmon by Eiji and Leon's Fenriloogamon: Takemikazuchi.

Death-X-mon is an available Burst Mode Evolution for Death-X-DORUgoramon. It can be unlocked if level 65 or above with the item Death-X Antibody.

Digimon Collectors

DEATH-X-MISSION was the game's final event, and its story centers on a Death-X-mon attack beneath the Digital World that forces all players to unite.

The sudden appearance of Death-X-mon, which began chasing Digicores throughout the Digital World, led to an emergency call being issued to all Tamers. To prevent the disaster from continuing, Agumon Hakase and Nise Agumon Hakase developed a weapon called the Dummy Digicore for the Tamers to use. Later, the Four Holy Beasts also offered their assistance.

The gameplay consisted of a global mission in which all players had to collaborate to reduce Death-X-mon's health. Based on the damage inflicted, the player received rewards, including evolution items from past events.

Digimon World Re:Digitize Decode

Death-X-mon is a main antagonist in the Lament of the X-Antibody chapter (慟哭のＸ抗体編 Dōkoku no X-Kōtai-hen). In order to fight the protagonists in the Infinity Mountain, Yggdrasill takes control of DORUguremon and forces him to evolve into Death-X-mon. It can only be obtained as a collectible card. Its card can be unlocked when completing the Death-X-Evolution (デクスリューション Dekusuryūshon) set and is part of the X-Antibody of Destiny (運命のＸ抗体 Unmei no X Kōtai) set.
